Two Boots UES

What happens when The Dude meets Cleopatra Jones? Cult-status-worthy cinemagic gastro-pleasure. In pizza form. I’ve had Two Boots pizza all over town, but never before without a belly full of alcohol, and never in the comfort of my living room. (Thanks, Seamless!) The polite delivery guy had our two pies to us still warm, within 40 minutes, well within the agreed upon time. It was also surprisingly economical. And dim-the-lights tasty. Ladies first. Sometimes only roasted peppers will do. We selected the whole wheat crust with the Cleopatra Jones, and the mildly sweet, texturally perfect hand-tossed was the perfect framework for the spicy sauce (with the option for less spice), just the right amount of mozz, nicely flavored sweet Italian sausage, red onions, and amazing roasted peppers. I mean it. The perfectly marinated red, yellow, and green bell peppers were shut-yo-mouth amazing. And plenty of ‘em. This thing was pepper-sploitation on a pizza. With a happy ending. Then came The Dude. Cajun bacon cheeseburger. Pizza. Spicy sauce (again, with the option to wimp out), Andouille sausage with ground beef, mozzarella with loads of cheddar, and smoky, peppery cubes of tasso ham from Louisiana. Nihilistically delicious. I want to eat this pizza until my little Lebowski grows big. (Pet name for my belly.) This will now be our go-to pizza delivery place. No question, Man. No question.

Never once disappointed me. Fantastic that their cookies are a reasonable $.75/each in a day and age where restaurants are charging over $5 for a bottle of Dasani water. At another place these cookies would be $3 each. Stay classy, 2Boots!

Food is good but they run over an hour on delivery both times that I have ordered. Only place I know on the UES that has vegan cheese though.....

My last three orders from UES Two Boots have been fraught with issues. First, an item that I paid for was missing from my order. Another time a pizza contained the wrong toppings. Most recently, we waited over an hour for a "specialty" pizza that finally arrived, burned on the bottom and with hardened cheese on top. I threw it away. I will not order from Two Boots again.

Wait time was 30-45 minutes. After 1 hr 15 minutes, I called and they said they didn't have my order & to call seamless to get an answer. In the meantime, I went out & bought slices. I returned and 5 minutes later Two Boots was at my door with my cold pizza two hours after ordering. Never again, beware.

Pizza was hot and delicious, and the delivery was faster than they said it would be. I order from Two Boots regularly because of the fast service and the food is always great.

LOVE Two Boots! When I moved back to the UES, I was really missing my Two Boots. Now there's one in this area, too. Classic New York style pizza, but a little bit sloppier - just the way we like it!

The pizza was good... but it arrived 1 hour after I ordered, even though I live ~5 blocks from the place. That would have been OK, but the delivery guy didn't give me the salad that I ordered. He said "someone else will bring" it, which I strange, and of course didn't happen. Basically, Two Boots owes me ~$5. Publishing on FB because I'm pretty pissed off about it.

Usually we have a great experience with Two Boots - but we asked for hot pepper to be included (which it wasn't) and our pizza arrived with the cheese stuck to the box and looked like it was carried on its side - disgusting. Ended up throwing it out. Worst $20 I ever spent. Will NOT be ordering from them again!

Fast delivery and great pizza. Getting a small pie delivered fresh is 10x better than going in for a couple heated up slices.

Maybe the pizza would have been better if it hadn't taken 2 1/4 hours for delivery. I called after an hour and they said they were very busy and understaffed; would receive delivery in 5-10 minutes. One more hour and the pizza arrived at room temperature (which has happened before)) and with the wrong toppings.
