Viand Cafe

I have just received my order from Viand Cafe (a tuna melt sandwich with French fries and a fresh lemonade). The lemonade is very refreshing, and the sandwich would have also received a top rating. Unfortunately for the Cafe, I just pulled a rather large piece of plastic out of my mouth that had made its way into my sandwich. I am not one to write negative reviews, but I find this rather unacceptable and unsanitary. I do hope that they read this and make it a top priority to check all of their food before it leaves the kitchen. I would love to try this cafe again in the future, but for now I will order elsewhere.

Excellent delivery experience. The food came within the stated timeframe. My greek burger was warm, lots of feta, vegies were fresh and crisp, and the onion rings were warm and still crunchy. I will certainly re-order from here.

I ordered from this restaurant on New Years Day. I simply ordered pancakes and a ginger ale. An hour and 15 minutes go by without receiving my food, so I call the restaurant and politely ask when the food would be delivered. The man on the phone very rudely said the food had been sitting there for a while and I could come pick it up if I want to. Excuse me? I ordered delivery, I'm not going to come and pick it up, especially after he admitted that the food was now just sitting there getting cold. I asked how long he expected and he said, "I have no idea, we have a lot of orders, and we're very busy. Just come and pick it up." No thank you, I canceled my order, and will never be ordering from here again. The food isn't even that good anyways. There are much better options in the neighborhood with better service.

I love this place. The food is great, even with such a wide selection, and the deliveries are well packaged and arrive promptly. Definitely worth trying.

Food is very good. Soups are always delicious (esp Matzoh ball soup!) and still hot when they arrive. Delivery is also fast, always faster than they predict.

I ordered the herbs de provence omelette that supposedly has goat cheese in it and there was literally NO goat cheese. disappointed as this is the 2nd time this has happened.

My husband and I just got our food and we were very disappointed. His grilled cheese was cold, overly greasy and just not good. It tasted weird. My BLT was a little off too. and those are pretty easy things to make. I wouldn't order here again. Waste of money.

Delivery was late, food was cold, and the worst part was just how wrong the whole order was! I didnt eat any of it and should have asked for my money back but was too lazy ... won't be ordering from here again.
