This was the WORST ordering experience I've had in NYC. Vinny Vincenz guaranteed delivery within 45 minutes. So when 55 minutes had passed, I called and they were very rude. They didn't provide any excuse or apology, other than "It's a busy night". After they finally delivered my meal, I opened it up to find out that the pasta was cold. This restaurant is only 2 blocks from my apartment so obviously it was sitting there for a while. I called back and the manager told me that I "must be lying" and "there's no way it's cold". I told him he could come over and see for himself. He told me he wouldn't refund me or offer a discount even though it was delivered after the 45 minute promise...it took an hour...and then proceeded to tell me the only way he'd give me a discount was if I ordered AGAIN from them. No thanks. Worst experience ever, avoid this place at all costs. PS. This is the first time I've ever written a bad review, however the manager was so rude and yelled at me, and the food was terrible and cold (I threw it away). So trust me, is place is a waste of your time and money.

A good late-night option, Vinny Vincenz offers huge portions of basic southern Italian fare. The vodka sauce is great and the arugula salad is surprisingly good.

They are incompetent. 50 minutes after ordering, I call and the guy has no idea I'd placed the order. It takes about 5 minutes to figure this out because he has apparent trouble speaking. 15 minutes ago, I hung up with it understood he'd begin to cook my penne now and rush it over. I feel like I am descending into hell. Update: food was good, id order it if i went there

Got my pizza, but delivery guy forgot the cannoli and water. He didn't speak much English (I really need to work on my Spanish!) but said he could get them written off.... they called to say they couldn't do that and that he would be sent back with waters and cannoli (you'd think they'd throw in another one, just sayin') good service, ok pizza. 3 stars cause it wasn't right the first time!

Food is really delicious, although it - along with the delivery service - can be inconsistent. Two out of my most recent three orders have taken over an hour to arrive. Recommendations include the spinach fettucine, veal and chicken parm, pizza and penne alla vodka.

Ordered the Meatball Parm. Above average, not great. Was hoping it would be a lot better than Brunos' down the street (also above average, not great), but it was just different. Meatballs were sliced & tasty, nice. Roll hardly toasted & smallish, weak. 45 mins to deliver.
