!Whym¡ Restaurant

The food is...not great. I understand charging extra for adding say, bacon or cheese, on a sandwich. But Whym charges extra for just "a little extra" sauce on a $15 sandwich. Utter lack of customer courtesy. Translation: Whym doesn't really want my business. And I never have to order from Whym again. Win-win.

I would recommend not getting their delivery, but trying their actual restaurant. (Disclaimer: I have not been to their actual restaurant myself.) Very hit and miss delivery. Sometimes the food is hot and delicious. Othertimes it is late, cold, and meh. It is also likely to come 20+ minutes after the estimated delivery time.

Looks like they cannot meet the delivery times... 30-45 minutes....just called to find out where are food is... after holding too long, a manager came on and said that order went our "awhile ago"... don't know if that is true, or even what that means, but it is now 10 minutes later and we still have no food! Called back and told them we would refuse delivery. On the way out to buy food, ran into delivery person, he said he only left the restaurant 10 minutes earlier.... that would mean the manager told us a fib! Off the list...

Practically inedible. I ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwich. The fish was suffocated by sesame seeds and tasted like it was cooked in a dryer. No flavor. Disgusting. I love Whym. I've eaten there a lot. But this is the last time I plan on ordering delivery from them again.

Wow, surprised to read some negative reviews. I have been living in this neighborhood since before Whym arrived and I have always experienced consistently great service in delivery and taste! IN fact, I know if Im super hungry and dont want to wait long, Whym and Eatery are the first places I pick. I also have some strict food restrictions and have even received calls from Whym double-checking before the delivery went out. Food is ALWAYS fresh, deliciously seasoned and service is always courteous and quick. We are lucky to have Whym in the neighborhood!

We have ordered from this restaurant several times and each time it has disappointed. This most recent order will be our last. The delivery service took almost two hours and after calling and following up on it all they said was "there was an issue in our kitchen and we will bring it shortly." We have ordered the french fries several times and they are dumped in a paper bag and often times are clumped together in big greaseballs. On our latest order, we ordered the calamari which was tasteless and really seemed like it was frozen. We also ordered the grilled chicken sandwhich and avocado and the bread on the sandwich was a 7 grain bread that was stale.

Pre-ordered food for delivery at a set time; time came and went without the food. Contacted the restaurant, who said it had just gone out the door. Received the food approximately 45 minutes after I had ordered it for. Food arrived cold. Since my food didn't *need* to be hot (a panini), it was ok. But I doubt I'll order from them again.

I had a TERRIBLE recent experience with Whym. The estimated delivery time was 15 - 30m. After 30m, I called them and they told me my food had already left and would arrive in 10m. Atfter 45m, I called them and they said there was a "glitch" in the kitchen and that my food actually had not left the kitchen and would be delivered in another 15m. After 1hr the delivery guy still had not left and I told them to cancel my order as I had to step out. They promised to cancel the items, but instead they sent the food and charged me anyway. The food can be good, but not worth this bad experience!

Fairly awful. It took almost 60 minutes after quoting 15-30 minutes - annoying. Ordered a salad which was a basic salad - nothing special. Pierogies were deep fried and nothing like the real thing. Burger was just okay. Another NYC restaurant trying to compete on fair to poor food flavor. Matter of time when this restaurant is on the way out. Good luck.

Anthony (the manager) hung up on me after I called and told them that the food had been late. No apology was offered. Of course, they told me that the food was its way. This is clearly a new restaurant that has no idea on how to handle delivery service.

This was one of my favorite restaurants, but I think the food has gone downhill in the past few months (this review is based on dining in the restaurant, not on its delivery service).

I live in the neighborhood and get delivery as well as have eaten there many times. The salads are wonderful, but somehow they seem smaller when delivered than when eating in the restaurant. I had the pot pie delivered and it was disgusting. I love pot pies, but this was inedible. The burger is usually good and I love the salmon club sandwich for brunch/lunch. Delivery is prompt, but, again, some of their foods not as good with delivery.

The food is very good, reliable and the delivery is usually quite fast. The fish tacos are delicious as is the chicken tortilla salad. We order from here frequently and are rarely disappointed.
