If you like Vietnamese food, this is the real deal. Absolutely delicious. I love the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. BBQ Chicken Pho also delicious. They have always delivered pretty quickly, too, even though we are over at Houston and Varick. High minimum order but I always order with someone else at work so that's not a problem.

Such a craving and wholla - vietnamese! Orderd at 11:45 and no lie, I had the order by 12 even though the email said 45-55 mins. I couldn't beleive it. The food was great, exactly like as if I went there to eat. Going to be a regular delivery place from now on....

I would never have imagined that I could describe a spicy chicken curry as tasteless, however this is what this dish was from Ze Lua restaurant. We've also ordered Summer Rolls and Soup which were bland as well. On top of the very bad food they've also forgot to deliver the drinks that we've ordered. I will not order from this place again.

The vegetable rice noodle soup (pho category) has literally saved my life. Assuming this is a judgement free forum, I'll admit that I have ordered it for 5 consecutive days. I'd like to semi-justify my actions with the fact that I have a terrible cold, but without taking away credit where credit is due -- from the deliciousness of the soup. As for the rest of the menu, per my previous confession of consistency, I can't in fairness review, but I'm sure if frog legs are your thing, Xe Lua's got you covered. Oh, did I mention that once they called to tell me that my order was on its way EARLIER than expected (Seamless to door record time: 15 minutes). That's right, that happened. Xe Lua, in my book, you win.

Great people, nice food. The guy on the phone was very friendly and courteous. The peanut sauce was peanut sauce and not just hoisin sauce with crushed peanuts...like some cheap restaurants make.

I ordered from Xe Lua three days in a row -- I don't think I've ever done that before. Their Pho is the best I've tasted in NYC.

Fine at most. Though my Vietnamese background does spoil my judgment. Ordered...: 21. House Special Rice Noodle Soup (Pho Xe Lura): Broth was fine. Clean, but not too flavorful. Toppings were a tad skimpy. But it's New York City, I guess.. 35. BBQ Pork Chop, Special Steamed Egg Cake, Shredded Pork & Broken Rice (Com Suron Bi Cha) Solved my craving, but nothing to rave about. Egg cake was flavorful. 6. Summer Rolls with Grilled Pork (Nem Nuong Cuon) Nothing out of the ordinary here. Just the usual lettuce and rice noodles. The nem nuong was quite plain. I'd pass on this next time.

good quality food, but very expensive for what we got vs. paid. There are many other vietnamese places that give you MUCH better value for money. Would not order from here again.

First time ordering from this restaurant, and for a group of 8 people. Our food was delivered in the time frame indicated, and not a single order was incorrect. Also, each takeout container was conveniently numbered, eliminating the guesswork between dishes. Everyone was pleased with their food as well.

Some of the best and most authentic Vietnamese that delivers. The food is fresh, flavorful, hot and moderately priced. I PRE-ordered at noon and our food showed up right on time at 6:45pm. Great service!

Oh, thank you Xe Lua! This was the best Seamless meal I have had since coming to New York a year ago. Their Beef Pho (medium rare) was perfect, very aromatic, delicious broth, tender beef slices, and the broth was delivered hot enough so that the beef actually cooked from rare to medium. They also provide ample amounts of lime, sprouts and sauce, unlike some other places. And, they were ridiculously fast. Fifteen minutes after we ordered, the delivery guy was already there. This despite the fact that Seamless had indicated a shocking delivery time of 55-70 minutes in the confirmation e-mail. What is up with that? Anyway, I am sure I will reorder from here plenty of times!
