Yo Sushi (2nd Ave)

I had a terrible experience with Yo Sushi. I ordered it for lunch after seeing all the positive reviews- I got a salmon avacado, spicy tuna, and yellowtail scallion roll. They were ALL not fresh, but the worst part is that I found fish scales in my yellowtail scallion roll. The first piece I had I found 2 scales, thinking that it couldn't possibly happen again (and not wanting to waste the rest) I ate a second one, and found another fish scale. I was so disgusted I threw the rest out. Maybe this place is hit or miss but to me, its not worth it! It's cheap but I guess you pay for what you get!

there are alot of bad sushi delivery places in manhattan. luckily, this isnt one of them! i love the spicy scallop roll here.

Came quickly and was some of the freshest sushi i've had in new york. Eel was good quality (not chewy / fatty). Salmon was great too.

fresh and tasty sushi. Generous sizes on everything. very fast delivery every time i order, which is surprising as I am 20 blocks away. Very happy delivery man !

The service for delivery was horrible. It came later than the 30-45 window (almost an hour late). When I got my food the sushi wasn't packed properly in the container so it spilled in the bag. It looked as if my sushi was not only thrown in the bag but also in the container. My salad was brown and yucky. The sushi was way too salty and it was just a depressing experience.

Great rich tasting food! The meat tastes like heaven. Coming to this place is totally worth it no matter how long to wait. It is my favor sushi place........

The sushi is not good. Seriously. Some of the worst sushi I've ever had in New York for the price. Avoid this place at all costs. I threw the food out--I wouldn't even feed this to my dog.

I ordered more than 20 times on Yo Sushi. The food at Yo Sushi is good, but the delivery is a nightmare. usually over the 45 minutes and VERY, VERY, VERY rude deliver guys. Enough is enough, I will stop ordering there.

I often work late and order dinner to the office. I have ordered from dozens of sushi places in midtown, so have lots to compare this place to. Things I was impressed by: Fast delivery. Estimated time was 30-45 and the food came in just under a half hour. The sushi was super fresh and delicious. One of the best I've had in a while. The shumai and kani salad were wonderful as well. Things I was disappointed by: the yakitori, which was too dry, and udon, which was bland. Highly recommend the sushi from here though!

Thought I'd try Yo Sushi but was not impressed at all. Small portions, more expensive; not at all as good as Oyama. I'm going back to my normal sushi place, Oyama.

yo sushi is a great go-to for sushi - the food is consistently good and reasonably priced. I've also been to the restaurant - it's clean and always crowded. I've never been disappointed.

This was the worst sushi I've ever had. It didn't taste fresh and the brown rice was so bland and starchy. I would not order from here again.

Best neighborhood sushi. The fish is always fresh, and delivery is always prompt and friendly. lunch deals are fantastic (may I suggest the 2-roll special).
