Zaytoon's (Myrtle Ave)

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I pretty much order seamless everyday, every time I've ordered from Zaytoon they take over an hour for delivery with no phone call or apologies. The food always looks like the delivery guy ran with it and dropped it a couple times on his trip over. This is the 3rd and final time, they're food isn't worth the wait or the price.

Ordered leg of lamb platter. was not a from a leg of lamb at all just pieces of gristly fat and did not come with the minty mayonaise sauce. And the pita was hard and stale. and the food was cold. This was the second time I've eaten here and the second time it's made me ill! The first time, I ate in with some colleagues and we all were sick afterwards. This time was delivery. I tried Zaytoon's again because other colleagues had recommended, but I will never subject myself to this horrible feeling again!!!

We order from Zaytoons weekly because the food, prices and people are awesome. And the delivery is always fast. Our favorites are the Shawarma sandwich with added Babaghanouj, the Chicken Shawarma platter and our daughter loves the kid's Pitza.

Zaytoons took my order. But I guess that they wanted to go home early, so they refused to deliver, and then told me that I had to call Seamless to figure out how to get my refund. To make matters worse, I was sent a confirmation email that indicated that I had faxed them a cancellation. (fax? what? who faxes any more?) You lost a regular, one-a-week customer, Zaytoons. Good going.

Best lentil soup ever!!! Its rare that I find a restaurant item that is better than my own home cooked version, but their's wins! And their falafel is one of my favorites in the city. Another thing I love about this place, is that as a vegan, its tricky to find a restaurant that completely satisfies (with plenty of great options) all the carnivores and herbivores around me. Everybody finishes their meal happy. I've also been to multiple Zaytoons locations, and had consistently delicious, fresh food. There may be an occasional rude or difficult staff member in the restaurant, but the food's so good, I brush it off and I keep going back. And if you're ordering delivery from Seamless Web, there's no risk of an obnoxious servers anyway! Win win!

Zaytoons used to be great. Good, flavorful, hot food. Reliably, time and again. The last 4-5 times we've ordered, however, the delivery takes forever, the food comes luke warm. Dry chicken, wrong orders. It's sad. It was a great place for a while.

Never again. Zaytoon's delivered half of the items we ordered last night. When I called the restaurant to ask for the remaining items to be delivered, they wouldn't answer their phone. I called and called, and they answered twice without saying anything, while I tried to explain to the silence that half of my order was missing. They hung up both times. When I called back again, they took the phone off the hook. I'm disputing the charges now. For some greasy, cold fries, this isn't worth it. I can't review the other items I ordered....because Zaytoons wouldn't deliver them.

I don't think there is better value around than Zaytoons. I'd almost say you can't cook for the price you can order in. And the tabouleh is possibly the best I have had. EVER. The only criticism I have is the delivery takes a long time to arrive. Longer than the estimated time. So order well ahead.

They took a while to deliver. They wouldn't deliver from their Myrtle location to my apartment, but had to transfer the order to their Vanderbilt Ave. location, which slowed it down. Food was delicious.
