Zen Palate (105th Street)

Food arrived quickly, but I was very unsatisfied with the quality. I ordered the popular Zen Burger, and it was dry with a lot of bun and sprouts with part of the patty completely crunchy/hard. Not much flavor. Does not do vegetarian food justice, would not order again. Other places to much better veggie burgers for much cheaper.

Twice I have ordered from Zen. Good food, but twice I have asked for hot sauce and twice I have not received. Good thing I don't have high blood pressure and Didn't ask for low salt. Also, why does Zen not have Eco-friendly delivery...no utensils and chopsticks? I'm quite sure diners would appreciate. If I had more veggie choices in Harlem, Zen would not be a top pick!!!!

I'm officially in love with this place. The food came in about 15 minutes, there was lots of it, and it was delicious. I had the Mango Halo, and I really cannot emphasize enough how tasty it was. I've never had a ginko nut before, but they were good. I highly recommend Zen Palate.

What can I say? Zen Palate has been my favorite restaurant since I was 18 years old and now that they are open in my delivery zone, I'm ecstatic. Sesame medallions, croquettes, and sweet and sour sensation are our favorites!

Tasty bean and tofu burritos with great guacamole. Be aware that every meal comes with pre-selected sides, so you may have a hard time finding the combination you really want. It also means that every order is a full meal, so if you try to save the leftovers, you may find very different guacamole the next day and some salad dressing on your burrito. Overall, though, I will be back to Zen Palate.

I am always surprised by how tasty the food at Zen Palate is because the descriptions on the menu sound boring/bland to this animal fat lover. However, I have never been disappointed with their product.

This is not the zen palate I remember. The soy protein was soggy, the rest of the food was bland, and the delivery was reeeeeaallly slow.

Ordering from Zen Palate was an absolute nightmare. I was waiting for over an hour when I decided to give them a call. I could barely understand the woman on the phone. It sounded like she said she was going to change my order or chase it until I finally realized she was saying "trace". Anyway, she claimed it was on it's way but ten more minutes went by and no food so I called again. This time, another woman picked up who was even harder to understand. She didn't seem to understand me either. She claimed she couldn't find the fax from SeamlessWeb and wanted to take my info and order again. By that time, it was past eleven and I was not interested in placing another order. I asked her if she could just see if my order is really on it's way because if not, I'd like my money to be put back on my card. She told me she didn't know (what, she couldn't call the delivery guy?) and I'd have to deal w/ SeamlessWeb about that who I'm sure would have told me to call the restaurant. After all that, the food finally arrived and it wasn't even that good. It sounds much better on the menu than it tastes in real life. Perhaps this isn't the case for their other locations, perhaps this isn't the case from this location when you're there in person but again, ordering from this place is an absolute nightmare and should be avoided at all costs.

Finally, a vegan restaurant in Morningside Heights! The restaurant is peaceful, the waitstaff is lovely, and the delivery time is very fast. Great vegan food!

Every time I have ordered from them they have arrived within the delivery window with my correct order. The food quality, however, leaves something to be desired.

I really try to leave more constructive comments when someone's business reputation is involved. But I'm pretty positive I got food poisoning from the small, expensive and pitiful lunch they delivered to me. I felt like I shouldn't have eaten it but was too hungry by the time it arrived to think it through. Big mistake.
