Though I have placed many orders with Zen Palate, there have been problems with my last 3 orders. Twice the delivery person has messed up the delivery address and the food has arrived cold as a result, and all three times at least one of the items I've attempted to order has to be replaced because it is unavailable. The last attempt was so frustrating that I cancelled the order. The food itself is good if it arrives quickly, but the recent service has been extremely subpar.

I usually dine at Zen Palate in Union Square and the food there is great, expecting the same type of quality I ordered from the 9th Ave Restaurant today. I was HIGHLY disappointed about the Sweet & Sour Dish I ordered. It was overcooked, the Broccoli which is usually crisp and green was greenish and soft and the sauce was watery. I even doublechecked the bag and the website to make sure I ordered from Zen Palate, thats how different it was. I love the Union Square location, but I will never order from the other location again.

Zen Palate has continuously been my vegetarian fare food choice. And try the little things too: like the Sesame Tofu Watercress Salad... best thing on the menu - promise.

Food arrived quickly which was great, but they definitely either left out ingredients that were promised in the description or sent the wrong meal. I ordered the Temple of Zen which was missing the string beans, jalapeno peppers, crunchy kale, and sesame seeds. The tofu wasn't grilled and there was a bunch of cauliflower and asparagus randomly added in. Wasn't thrilled.

I LOVE Zen Palette - they are the best! Especially love the Sweet & Sour delight, yam fries & pineapple ice tea. I have yet to come across another restaurant with a similar menu & quality level. I have been to various locations for over 10 years now & have absolutly never been disappointed!

Sesame Tofu Salad, Taro Spring Rolls, and Wonton Soup are always yummy. The Zen Burger & Yam Fries can be inconsistent, especially for delivery during the cold months...typically pretty tasty though. I'll admit I'm a bit of a stir-fry snob, but I haven't been impressed with any of those dishes. All and all the food is decent; this is probably our #2 go-to place for food delivery.

This place is awesome. The house salad is amazing. Everything is good. It is obvious from the quality and presentation that the "Zen" is this restaurant's name is not just for show.

Delivery was fast, but the food was inedible. The scallion pancake had no scallions and was really just tasteless fried dough. The sweet and sour medallions were tough, with soggy breading and overly sweet sauce. I honestly couldn't eat anything on the plate.

Delicious and reliable, quick delivery! Get the sesame medallions. The croquettes are on the bland side.

Food used to be great, getting worse every time. Everything arrived soggy, mushy, wet, because of wrong packaging. They ignored our request and sent no less than 50 (!) plastic forks we did not need, and a whole bag of condiments we did not want. I wish they put more care in deliveries, because the food could be great.

Sesame medallions was fine and delivery was prompt. I will probably order from here again. But the "Fresh Ginger Ale" was neither fresh nor ginger ale. It was a bottle of Jasmine Tea Ginger Ale, which I would not have ordered had I known that it would have tea in it.

Really great vegetarian food! And some of the best Asian food in Hell's Kitchen. If you live in the area delivery is usually super fast. A few of the dishes could be taken off the menu, but if you look for the ones with the most likes you can't go wrong.

Sweet and Sour Sensation: Not really sweet or sour, and it was soggy, big time. I expected more, given the price. Banana rush was not so bad, but not that special either. Not sure if I will order again.
