I really hope I'm not jinxing myself here, but I've always had great luck with the food and service from Montien. I usually order the same few items though (pad thai, curry puffs, and usually one other wildcard app or entree) so maybe that's why. I've never been so disappointed that I would enter a negative review, although avoid the papaya salad app, WAY TOO GARLICKY!!!

The food itself was pretty good, a little on the greasy side, but good overall. The main problem that I had with this place is that the delivery time took way too long. The estimate says that it's about 45-60 minutes but I waited over 1.5 hours. The dishes are also pretty small for the price.

Food was a bit scant for the price. Ordered pan seared salmon with spinach and mashed potatoes. The salmon was good, but on the small side and the sides were excellent. My partner ordered a burger and fries and was satisfied with the meal. Would order again if prices weren't quite so high.

I have ordered from Samurai five times and I have experienced exemplary service and food for 4/5 of those times. I must, however, temper my review 4 stars instead of 5 for the most recent experience. Although the food was yummy, the delivery person kept reassuring that it would take "ten more minutes" when I called a total of four times. What should have been a 45 minute delivery took 88 minutes. I was disappointed by this experience, however, they were apologetic when I brought this to their attention. I hope this was just a bad day in what is a great restaurant overall. I recommend highly.

3.5 stars. Pretty good. Crunchy Spicy tuna roll was good for the price although neither spicy nor crunchy. The Hot and sour soup is never quite right. Not sour. The Scallion pancakes are SUPER good. Perfect balance of chewy inside and crunchy outside. Their House Fried rice is also quite tasty.

The price you pay for the quality and quantity of food is great. The level of 'spicyness' is the perfect kick too! If you're familiar with other Thai Restaraunts in the area it is comparable to Brown Sugar but cheaper, better than Nud Pub and Noodle Street. The family size curry options are very generous, and their crab rangoons are my favorite so far. The country style Pad Thai is also good. And they have always arrived in the time slot provided, generally towards the 30 mins window! :) Only once were they late. This place is my new addiction.

Their spicy fried chicken drumsticks are hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had. I'm addicted and you won't be disappointed if you order them. I think they must be double fried because they are super super crispy on the outside and the dark meat is juicy on the inside. I also love their pickled radish side and cole slaw sides. They help cool your mouth off way better than celery sticks and ranch dressing between bites of spicy fried chicken. The restaurant also serves some pretty authentic Korean dishes like their classic bibimbap which I'd like to try more of.
