  I am Bangladeshi and feel that South Asian food in NY doesn't compare to London or the original cities. However, Kinara is above average for a neighborhood restaurant, even compared to Curry row and Curry hill in Manhattan. The Panir Bhujeree is really yummy.

  It seems like a lot of their stuff is overpriced for what you get, but much of it is reasonably priced. It balances out, I guess. They also seem to have sorted out their delivery problems. My wait has never been longer than an hour.

  I was very pleasantly surprised with our first order, the food was very good (some tasty pitas) but the reason I give 5 stars was that due to the fact they ran out of whole wheat pita bread for my girlfriend's order, they sent along some baklava with a nice note saying sorry. It's those small, personal gestures that really make me like a place and make me want to order again...in addition to good food of course ;)

  I wish I could give them five stars, but I simply cannot. I ordered my food at 5 and it didn't get to me until SEVEN O'CLOCK. I was highly upset. I called a few times and each time they gave me excuses on why it wasn't here yet, told me they'd call me right back and didn't, etc. It got to the point where my boyfriend, whose credit card I used mind you, had to take time out of his work day to call and figure out what the hell was going on. By the time my food got here, it was cold. I was not happy. However, when I tasted the food (pholourie, corn soup, and curry shrimp roti) it tasted SCRUMPTIOUS! Everything was on point, after I *reheated* it of course, being it arrived COLD. Smh. One thing I really adored was the fact that they were not cheap with the shrimp at all. My roti had shrimp all up and through it. I just wish I didn't have to reheat it upon its two hour awaited arrival. I highly recommend ordering from them if you are taking a road trip to Brooklyn from Connecticut. And maybe, just maybe your food (tasty but it will arrive cold) will be at your destination when you arrive.

  Asya is my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn Heights! It is by far the best Indian food in the area. They are pretty quick with delivery, and it's also nice to eat in their restaurant with beautiful decor! My favorite dishes are the Cauliflower Manchurian, the Lamb Vindaloo, and the Crab Curry. The only thing to note with delivery-- they don't seem to handle special requests that go against the nature of the dish. For example, don't try to order the Rogan Josh spicy, it's a creamy and not spicy sauce and they won't just add spice to it. They might just ask you if you want Vindaloo instead...

  Inexpensive and decent pizza joint. It's affordable food that they deliver hot and on time. If you expected gourmet quality for cheap delivered to your doorstop, maybe you should check your privilege. It's average joe Brooklyn pizza with a low minimum order. I order from them all the time.

  I am having a love affair with IL PORTO. I must admit I am probably the pickiest eater on planet Earth...and...I DO NOT apologize for it. I have been eating my mini Grandma 'slices' and lusting after the Paccheri pasta for over a year. The consistency should be envied by other Brooklyn restaurants and to my surprise the in house service is just as AWESOME. I will NEVER cheat on these sexy Italianos. They make me smile EVERYTIME!!!!
