  Burger (ordered in a salad wrap) arrived warm, and in less time than the delivery time posted. It was cooked to order. The Sweet Potato "strings" are actually covered in flour (I believe that's what it was...) and then deep-fried. I was expecting something fresher, like fresh-cut sweet potato fries. Plus, having gluten intolerance, I wasn't able to enjoy the fries that I had looked forward to! They also forgot my chipotle mayo sauce, which I did pay $1.25 extra for. But the delivery was prompt and I would give dining in the restaurant a chance for sure.

  The food is pretty good but a little bit over priced. The portions of the fried chicken were quite generous tho the sides are a bit smaller than I expected. Overall pretty good.

  I ordered from Jake's last week on a particularly crumby eat myself into a coma to forget about Law School finals kind of day. The ribs and wings were both awesome, in generous quantities, and the spinach and mac and cheese were great to boot. The only way I'd like this place more is if they delivered pints of ice cream. Even the delivery guy was friendly. Will definitely be ordering from Jake's fairly regularly.

  We love our Lone Star burgers and curly fries. The sliders are kid favorites. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the food but more than that the service we recently experienced was outstanding. An order we got had a minor error; I called to check if we had someone else's order or see if we could have it corrected. Not only did the owner IMMEDIATELY call me back, corrected the issue, gave me his personal cell phone number and offered us another FREE meal and stressed to order whatever we wanted. He apologized again and again and was beyond kind. We took him up on the offer of the free meal during a tight week $$$ wise and I called him on his cell, he remembered me and while he personally took my order in the kitchen, he urged me to keep ordering and try anything we wanted on the house. He asked if I needed extra utensils etc. Ketchup? "Yes, actually, we just ran out of ketchup, ketchup would be awesome, thanks!" When our food arrived so did a full bottle of Heinz ketchup, brand new, never opened. The customer service I experienced due to what have potentially been a really poor experience has only made me more loyal and enamored with Lone Star. We will be using them again and again.

  Jumbo shrimp is like the ones from a chinese takeout. shish kebab sandwich is like a beef gyro served on fastfood pita bread, but they put a lot of meat in it. Did not see the chicken, but i reckon it would have been 5stars. i gave it 3 stars only cuz what i ordered was plain ol' regular cheap eats, as expected. I wanted to upload a biz pic but the app does not do that yet.

  I have consistently ordered from here, as it is close to my apartment and the food always comes quickly and hot. The people that work there are very friendly when I go in.

  I haven't pulled the trigger on the combo sandwiches yet but the pastrami is delicious(although better in store then delivered for whatever reason) and the "Brooklyn cheesesteak" is well worth eating. Interesting potato salad that I'm pretty sure is actually potato/egg salad. The desserts are exceedingly sweet but if you're into that kinda thing you'll enjoy them.
