  I am Bangladeshi and feel that South Asian food in NY doesn't compare to London or the original cities. However, Kinara is above average for a neighborhood restaurant, even compared to Curry row and Curry hill in Manhattan. The Panir Bhujeree is really yummy.

  The food took a while, but I will take into account it was a horrendous downpour outside. And all my anger at being hungry for so long burned away when I bit into one of the most delicious sandwiches I ever ate. The classic is amazing.

  India Palace is not very close to me. I have several Indian restaurants that are, on the other hand, closer. I still always order from India Palace, however, because the prices are good and the delivery is normally quite swift. The delivery guys are always pleasant as well. If you had a bad experience, it was probably a one-off, bad luck. I order from them weekly! Only thing I will say - about Indian restaurants in general - is that the restaurant that starts to provide the option for BROWN spiced rice will have my business forever more. Haven't yet discovered that...

  Panang curry is my jam, I love that they give you a Level of Spice option- always extra spicy for me. Delivery's usually pretty quick for me too, no complaints here.

  This is not quite healthy vegetarian cuisine, but it sure is tasty! The chicken nuggets are good, they have 2 different BBQ sauces, both yummy, and they have tons of options. Steer clear of the spring rolls - they are soggy and unappetizing, but everything else I have tried is tasty.

  Best tofu in the area. Summer rolls are not worth it, however. I love all the vegetarian options and my boyfriend is crazy for the pad Thai and curries.

  Zen Vegetarian has great tasting mock-chicken and will adjust the level of spiciness when requested (MAKE SURE TO REQUEST!, no option!) The food itself tasted good and was of good quality, but the dishes seemed to lack the level of preparation that would earn 5 stars... Some of my veggies were sloppily chopped or not at all.
