Food was phenomenal!!! Finally, an Indian restaurant that delivers to our office Near Borough Park. It was very authentic! Indian style crab cake was off the chart! So was the goat rogan josh. Only negative was the delivery time of over an hour. Probably due to one of the items being chicken biryani. My colleagues all enjoyed their dishes too.

I've tried several Indian spots in NYC and this is by far one of the best. Everything is just so fresh and light, and delivery is always super fast. I've probably ordered from here 6 or 7 times and it has consistently been great.

Good tasting Bhuna Chicken but the chicken pieces weren't very tender. Kachori was standard. I wouldn't order the Mugli naan again because it's deep fried and very doughy. Arrival time: about 35 minutes ---- not bad.

Something about this particular Punjabi place is unusually special. I've ordered from Indian food all over the city, but only the sauces of their white meat Chicken Vindaloo and their Mixed Veg Curry -- of this place only, in NYC -- take me quite as back directly to the best London Indian bistro of my college days with such a Proustian rush. Try it once: you'll see what I mean. This place is different, it is fantastic.

After the absolute worst experience on seamless courtesy of another LES Indian restaurant, was close to foregoing any future forays for Indian food in the area. I'm glad we took another chance. Benares redeemed the cuisine plus some. From the Chicken Vindaloo to the Lamb Biryani to the Saag Paneer and Kolhapuri Misal the food was uniformly fresh and as good as any enjoyed this side of London. While the wait was close to 75 minutes, the food did arrive hot and ready to eat and exactly as ordered. Oh and the traditional side sauces all were also very fresh and some of the best had anywhere. Big thumbs up and highly recommended. There is hope after all for Indian food lovers in the LES! Enjoy

Food came quickly. Tasted good. Indian food is always expensive so the price wasn't bad. Love the meal deal, it comes with everything I usually order with 1 click!

best indian I've had in the williamsburg/bushwick area. I've had them all. Great samosa, great nan, great sauces, great depth of flavor in the curries.
