I was very pleasantly surprised with our first order, the food was very good (some tasty pitas) but the reason I give 5 stars was that due to the fact they ran out of whole wheat pita bread for my girlfriend's order, they sent along some baklava with a nice note saying sorry. It's those small, personal gestures that really make me like a place and make me want to order again...in addition to good food of course ;)

I really loved the Calamari it's not as chewy as some I've had, I am not sure if its fried in the same oil as shrimp is because I actually broke out in hives after eating it this time so if anyone has an allergy to shrimp please ask first if its fried in its own oil or in the same oil as shrimp. Other than that the food is delish!

I was reluctant to order from Istanbul Park because it is really far from my house...well, the food arrived piping hot. PIPING HOT! And it is the best damn takeout that I have ever ordered in NYC. So flavorful! I am moving next week and so devastated that I did not discover this place sooner!

They do deliever on time . I have ordered in three days in row the food has arrived on time. For previous customer, who complained about " camlica" if he does not know: good chance to know this sprite. It is Turkish sprite. The best and old recipe from our childhood it is delicious. The food was great at three times. And very polite smiley staff to deliver. The Turkish pita came hot each time. The food too.
As an Turkish background, I was amazed how good they do make the Shepard salads. Only kazandibi was great the first day than it was not the usual next two days. It was dry and the bottom was burned enough. Tashkent salads was great too.
But must try the pastry hot food with beef filling . I forgot the name. It is 2.50
And delicious. The salad was very fresh. Thank you. Will support the locals.
Cheers, peace happy eating. Sehnaz
I am a world citizen, but try " camlica" the oldest Turkish sprite.

Troy Turkish grill serves a wide variety of authentic food. The meat they use is of top quality. I strongly recommend to get the Troy Mix, which gives you a little bit of everything. Their lamb gyro sandwich is also to die for.
Make sure to get the tahini sauce on the side as well.

I do not understand why does this place have 5 stars all over. That fooled me in ordering. I know Turkish food, and this food was just eh. The delivery however was fast. That is why I rate it 3 stars.

I ordered 2 dishes. Everything was great. Food taste delicious. Only problem was the Turkish bread, which they toasted and by the time i got it, it was hard enough to chew. Really bad bread. Other than that, food was amazing. Just make sure if you order than make a special note that don't toast the bread.
