Abi Japanese Restaurant

This is my go to sushi delivery place. I order from here at least twice a week. The last few times I ordered they have taken more than an hour. I'm so fed up! Never ordering again. Both seamless and abi are losing a lot of business!

They are terrible. Bad fish. Horrible service. Unwilling to help their customers and a good restaurant to note that you should never order anything raw from if you don't want to get very sick. Also have rats - one was literally in the dining room.

I ordered the Alaksa Roll after calling specifically to ask what was in it, and when they said Salmon, Avocado and Cucumber, I went for it. But it wasn't regular Salmon, it was smoked, which is not typical and also not what I wanted. Furthermore, the Yellowtail I ordered also tasted off, which left me with a Peanut Avocado roll that was fine (thankfully it's hard to go wrong on vegetarian rolls...) and still hungry and very disappointed. Plus, it always frustrates me when restaurants don't have full descriptions of their food on the site or online. I don't recommend ordering from here.

I ordered sushi from this restaurant on Seamless Web at 8:30pm. It was supposed to be delivered in 30-40 minutes. At 9:30pm, I called to see why the order had not arrived. I was told the delivery guy had already left and should be here within the next 10 minutes. He was not. I called back at 10:30 -- two hours after I placed the order. The restaurant told me that the I had refused the order and that the delivery guy called me and I declined to accept the order. I received no such call. The food never arrived. I canceled the order and requested a refund from Seamless. I recommend NEVER ordering from here. This restaurant is dishonest and does not care about its customers. Their food probably sucks too, but I can't say because they never delivered it to me!!

I agree with the poor food, not prepared by a cook who cares, though delivery was quick for me. Ask yourself how seamless puts 5 stars by this restaurant when the restaurant has a three star and a bunch of ones, seamless rating system should be never trusted.

I never complain or write bad reviews, but this was so bad I felt compelled to recount my experience with Abi. The plastic fork was so cheap and flimsy that it bent in half before I could successfully cut my fish. Of course, I was only using the fork because they neglected to include a knife. The fish was covered in the goopiest, grossest teriyaki sauce I've ever seen. They did not include soy sauce with my order, so my rice was basically useless. For many reasons this meal was barely edible. Unless Abi was just having an off night, I would highly recommend that you find another place to get your Japanese food.

Five stars my ass! Horrible service... Hour and a half to deliver. Food was cold. Multiple meals were packaged together in one container. Small portions. Miso soup had spilled all over the bag. Delivery guy refused to come up to my floor and insisted I come to the lobby. I probably could have paid a homeless guy (in change) and would have had a better experience.

delivery took TWO HOURS to arrive . we tipped the delivery guy anyway (about 13%) and he threw the money on the counter and cursed (and we are a public office). it was awful. now, if the food were great i'd say i'd forgive, but the udon lunch was filled with gross slimy lettuce, carrot sliver, and cabbage; there were maybe four small pieces of chicken. needless to say the negimaki was cold and the sauces were spilled all over the bag. in short.........AVOID THIS PLACE

False advertising. i specifically wanted soba this evening, so ordered a soba seafood noodle soup here. these are over cooked egg noodles, the scallops taste like they've gone off and the broth tastes of nothing. very disappointing.

Food is mediocre at best. On top of that, their delivery guy was arguing his tip with me for about 5 minutes at the door when he delivered. Very unprofessional. Not ordering from here again.

Decent food (sushi sashimi combo was pretty full and nice cuts) but delivery was slooooow, almost 1.5 hours... not worth that wait.
