Love Ajisai. Very fresh sushi, prepared well, and at a reasonable price.

The BEST General Tso's Chicken in town! (And yes, oddly enough from a Japanese restaurant) You won't find anything like it anywhere else. The sauce is uniquely sweet in all the right ways- think Japan meets Kansas City. Also Ajisai is special in that it serves the sauce on the side as to keep the chicken breading crisp. The chicken is served in strips which I usually cut with a knife, dipping each bite in the sauce before eating. And do ask for extra sauce- it's well worth the additional charge.

Worst sushi I've had. I don't know who's rating this restaurant 4 or 5 stars, but it certainly doesn't deserve the high raves. Wasted $44 for a less than mediocre dinner. My "amazing roll" was anything, but amazing. The "new style sashimi" was good if I didn't dip them in the "chef's special sauce". Will never order from here ever again.

I've tried all the sushi in Hell's Kitchen and this is the best. Food is fresh, delivery good, the restaurant is also pretty legit if you want to dine in.

More than 20 blocks away, the restaurant delivered a fresh, still hot meal at under the estimated delivery time. And I really appreciate the delivery person's care in transporting the food - still beautifully placed within the "to go" containers. Nothing more infuriating than opening the plastic cover to reveal your meal piled into one corner of the plate. Thank you Ajisai.

I love the Ajisai food! I order almost every week, the rolls are awesome and the quality is always great! I live close so it usually takes only 20 minutes to deliver.

This could very well be my favorite sushi place in Manhattan (although I have only tried between 7 and 10). Their special rolls are amazing! I'm always hesitant to order Sushi takeout, but it was almost as good as eating at the restaurant (I missed their ambiance). Takeout was very fresh and any sauces that usually come on the sushi were served on the side to preserve the freshness of your rolls which I appreciated.

Used to love this restaurant and ordered several times a week from Ajisai. The food quality is significantly going down, unfortunately.

Very good quality for the price. Sushi rolls and tempura are the best items on the menu and delivery is generally quick. Eating at the restaurant is even better if you have the time, the presentation of sushi and good drink options make it worth it.

Really good and also consistent. Ask for extra sauce though if you get any of the teriyaki dishes - it comes on the side in a small plastic cup. Only real downsides: a bit more than other Japanese places in Midtown West; occasionally if you order delivery it can exceed 40 minutes to get to your apt.

I ordered 2 hours in advance to have the food delivered at a set time and they were still a half hour late. I called when they were 10 minutes late, and they said the delivery man already left. The restaurant is 3 blocks away from my office and it still took an additional 20 minutes to get here. As a result of the lateness, a roll with tempura in it (Volcano roll) was cold, and did not test very good. Also, one of the main ingredients listed was tobiko, but the tobiko was barely sprinkled on. The restaurant still gets 3 stars because the fish in the Alaska roll and spicy salmon roll was fresh and tasty. The spicy salmon roll had a little kick to it, but could have been spicer.

Went there for dinner for the first time last week. Everything was delicious! I never review restaurants, but this place is a great new find for our neighborhood!

Very new Japanese restaurant which has popped up where the Circus Bar used to be. We ordered delivery from here on Saturday night and were quite impressed. The Tempura rolls and lettuce wraps were fresh and tasty and the Pad Thai certainly rivalled that of some of the better local Thai places around HK. Will be trying it again for sure.

This place is very prompt on delivery even in the rain and the food is good. Obviously its not going to be 5 star, but its good and above average sushi. I use to order from Aoki all the time until the delivery became extremely inconsistent. The food here is good and delivery consistent. I will continue to order from here.
