I would order here more, if it weren't so pricey, but I will say that you get a lot for your money. Not to mention the food is top-notch. I love the meatloaf in particular—definitely would recommend!

Alobar is a neighborhood favorite of ours. We were so excited when we saw new items on the menu. Ordered the fried chicken entree last week and it was great! Ordered it again this week and got a drumstick and 2 chicken fingers. Just surprising to see such inconsistencies in the food and portions when they usually seem to put such an emphasis on quality.

I just ordered the famous Mac & Cheese and this is the worst dish I have ever had. I had it at Alobar while dining in and it was great. What arrived few minutes ago is half size of what is served in the restaurant. There are cold pieces of pasta stuck together with 3 pieces of bacon. There is no trace of any sauce so it is incredibly dry. The poached egg is the only edible part. Huge disappointment. Will never order from there again.
