Amai

Have ordered from here in the past and been satisfied but today, the delivery man comes to the door, and asks that I pay 1.50 more for the food. He couldn't explain why and became irate and started cursing at me. I will NEVER order from Amai again.

Just ordered sushi from here. It arrived in good time and I have to say it tasted sooo good. Would definitely reccommend this place to anyone looking for great sushi. I have tried several sushi delivery places and sushi arrived either cold or tasteless or both. Sushi from Amai was perfect ratio of rice to meat and so awesome.

I wanted to try something new so i figured i would give Amai a shot. When the guy brought my order he hounded me for more money for a tip even though i gave him a 15% tip. He ended up leaving with a 25% tip because he wouldn't leave without it. The food was nothing special and i will never order from them again.

This place has great sushi! Would have given it a five except for the fact that the delivery man yelled at me for three minutes about how I didn't leave a big enough tip ($2.00 for a barely $10 order).

Something was seriously off with the eel. Broad menu but all items made us feel queasy. Avoid their sushi and stick with their Miso soups, which were tolerable. I hope that this experience was not consistent with the restaurant, but at such prices to be turning out that quality of food should be discouraged.

Very good sushi and I didn't realize they were on east side but they delivered to West End anyway. Felt bad for delivery guy but the food was exceptional.

Bento box was good and fresh. The wonton soup was nothing to write home about. The only sushi we ordered tasted old/bad. Will never order from here. Again.

We ordered a Beef Negamaki and Sushi Dinner Bento Boxes. Food came in 45 minutes instead of 20-35. The hot food (soup, beef negamaki) was cold and the sushi was warm and did not taste very good. The dinner bento boxes came with edamame, which, for the price, was a really cheep way out. Avoid this restaurant.

Dumplings were cold. Food was delivered without silverware or salad dressing or napkins. When I called to have them remedy the situation it took 30 min and the delivery person was pissed because he had to walk back... NOT MY PROBLEM, I can't take off work to fix their mistake. Will not order again.

Delivery was fast, but I ordered the Dragon Roll Lunch Special, and the rice for sushi was undercooked and hard. You get what you pay for.

i have no idea why ppl write bad reviews about this place.. the delivery is allways fast never had any mistake with my order allways fresh and good !! and im ordring every day !! 5 stars in my book :)
