Amish Market Tribeca

I just finished scarfing down a build your own salad from Amish Market. It was delish and exactly what I ordered (all the toppings, dressing in a generous portion on the side, etc.). Also, I also requested a significant amount of toppings and they actually listened! My salad was full of avocado, cheese, tomato, almonds, etc. I've been disappointed so many times by the amount of attention to detail but these guys nailed it. I also encourage anyone in the TriBeCa area to stop in and check out their homemade pasta/potato/chicken/tomato/vegetable salads because those are delish as well. Delivery was quick too - they brought it all the way into my building and to my section - very nice experience. I will do it again!

I used to order from Amish but the service just got worse and worse. The last straw was when I put in an order for a 7:15pm delivery. I called at 7:40pm to discover the food had not been sent and was promised delivery in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I get a call telling me that they were out of shrimp and asking me to choose another meat...the salad wasn't even finished, let alone on its way!!! Never again.

Placed an order for delivery and it arrived FAST! So why the one star rating? Because I placed the order before 2pm for a 5:15pm delivery and it arrived three hours early. It gets better - I called the Amish Market to point out the error. The person I spoke with was disgusted that the order wasn't read properly. He then made a point of telling me I'd have a fresh order at 5:15pm. I left my office at 5:35 with no fresh order. It's my first time ordering from them and, well, it's my last time too.

DO NOT ORDER FROM AMISH MARKET. After 90 minutes there was still no sign of the food and the phone number was busy (despite 15 attempts to call).

I was working late on a Sunday night in the Financial District. Unknown to me it was pouring rain outside. The delivery guy (who appeared to be an Amish Market employee based on his Amish Market shirt) was pleasant and made no mention of having braved a thunderstorm (unlike other guys who have delivered to me through bad weather). Had I known, I would have been quite eager to supplement his tip. I only figured it out by how wet the bag was when I returned to my desk. The food was just what I ordered and it was good. (Try the Gozleme. Yum.) I feel bad for folks who have had bad experiences. This was my first order and delivery. I hope nothing happens to change my high opinion of their service and food. Amish Market is okay by me. Blessings.

I was craving a chicken roll, the weather was rainy and Amish Market was offering a 20% discount. SCORE! lol I could not be happier. The food arrived when promised and the roll is excellent. I will order from them again. :D

My food arrived cold and my order was incorrect. On top of that, the delivery person refused to bring it to the 5th floor where my office is located (in a walk up building). He called my cell when he arrived and asked how to get to the 5th Floor. I told him the stairs and he hung up on me. I waited patiently for him to appear, but no go. Six minutes later, someone from Amish Market called and said I needed to go down to the lobby to get my order. Well, I actually ordered IN lunch because I have a knee injury and am on crutches -- going up and down the stairs in near impossible. When I explained that, she asked me three times what floor I was on and said she'd send him up. I managed to hobble down one flight and met him there - where he refused to speak to me when I asked if that order was for me, wouldn't make eye contact or acknowledge my thank you. The cold, incorrect sandwich and soda and delivery hassle puts this place on our office's black list.

Ordered pizza, came 1+ hour later... Pizza was a mess (box was mishandled) and cold! Called amish, manager did not offer a resolution... apparently it is my fault they are busy and unable deliver and keep your food warm....

When the food was delivered the container was totally upside down and the dressing on the salad was all over the other food and drinks (and got to my clothing when I try to retrieve from the bag. This is not the first time where a delivery person did not take caution on carrying the food. Amish Market need to train the delivery people better.

I love to go to Amish Market and pick out my food in person, but can't always get out for a lunch break. So I was thrilled when I saw they were on Seamless Web. In an area with not too many reliable lunch spots, Amish Market has something for everyone. I usually get the vegetarian taco bowl, which is huge and has tons of fillings - it barely fits in the to-go box, but have also had really good sushi and salad bar food there. I like that you can add groceries to your order, although I haven't tried yet. The food comes fast which is impressive because the in-person lunch rush is really big there. All of my orders have been fulfilled correctly.

Amish market does truly great gyro sandwiches and platters. They do decent burger, pizza, etc. so when my kids don't agree everyone can find something.
