We usually order from another seamless indian but I thought I would give Amla a try. First the order didn't arrive, I called after waiting 45 minutes, and got an oops, it will be right there. It came quickly after that, but my spinach paneer came with chicken in it. When I called to say it had chicken, the guy said, no, that's the cheese. As a lifelong Vegetarian, I know the difference between cheese and chicken. They sent the replacement quickly but an hour later, a bunch of mess ups, I think I will stick the indian we order the is consistently good.

Order from Amla frequently. food is respectable, but certainly not great curry. Very expensive for what it is. However, they are always fast with delivery, food is very consistent, and arrives hot.

The delivery took longer than promised, and the food was average. With so many better options in the neighborhood, I see no reason to reorder from Amla.

I was terribly disappointed with my order from Amla. I love Indian food for its flavor and spices; my vegetable korma tasted like diluted milk. The vegetable pakoras were okay-- similarly on the bland side, but not as bad. Maybe their meat options have more flavor, or maybe I tried them on an off day. But I will not be ordering again.

First time order - very impressed. The food was very flavorful and rich, unlike some of the watered-down Indian you get around here. I ordered the lunch special with malai kofta and the onion bhaija, and both dishes were delicious.

It's mediocre. Delivery is slow. Portion sizes were small and it just doesn't cut it when compared to other Indian food around the neighborhood. Also their yogurt was awful. It's just a load of tahini sauce.. waste of 4 bucks.

Great tandoori chicken, BUT the last two times I've ordered they've taken over an hour to get here. Last night was 1hr 12 min when the estimated deliver time was between 30-45min. By the time the food got here it was cold and definitely not worth the price.

By far the best Indian on the Upper West Side. Interesting regional selections, prepared without the heavy sauces and oversalting common to other neighborhood Indian restaurants. If available try the dosas.

Terrible. I gave one star rating because 0 stars was not possible. They took an hour and 20 minutes to deliver my order which came cold, with out utensils or napkins (however they included straws!) The mint ginger drink was rancid and the salad came with out dressing. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!

I am definitely happy to find a place which delivers some south indian food. I ordered the Mysore Masala dosa with masala on the side. My food arrived in less than 30 minutes and was served with two types of chutneys both of which were good and well seasoned sambhar. Just wish that it was a little less expensive. Nevertheless I will order food again from here.

Wow. I've never written a review AS I'm still eating the food. What a welcome addition to the neighborhood, where I feel like the indian options have gotten a bit stale. There's no take out deal here, and a couple bites of my lamb were a bit tough, but the flavors pack a punch! You can see and taste all the bits of freshly ground spices, and the ingredients are super fresh. Portion sizes are great (They included a full sized raita with the Biryani.) and the delivery was quick . I can't wait to try out more of the menu and stop by in person.

Delicious sauce! Chicken could be slightly more moist/tender, but a really great dish nonetheless. Personal favorite.
