Asian Taste (Brooklyn)

They've got fast service and tasty food. Their Crab Rangoons are pretty amazing and I'm also a big fan of their vegetarian wonton soup. Perfect for a day when I feel for some comfort food.

I love their Japanese food...I've gotten the hibachi chicken several times and sushi - but every time I order the Chinese food, I immediately regret it. So, I'd recommend ordering Chinese somewhere else. There is something about it that just doesn't taste right. But the Japanese is great!

This has got to be one of the worst eating experiences of my entire life. Tasteless hog slop. I wouldn't give this crap to my dog. I wonder how this place even stays open. If I could give negative stars I would. SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

I would give four stars for their Chinese menu and three for their sushi. I've ordered from this place at least a dozen times. I'm vegetarian so I don't have any experience with their meat or fish dishes. The food can sometimes be sort of on the greasy side, but honestly that's what I expect when I order from a Chinese takeaway place. The portion sizes are plentiful and the prices reasonable. The veggie sushi rolls are decent, not amazing and not as "filled" as some other other places, but they're certainly OK. I will continue to order from them.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they use MSG and I felt poisoned when I woke up this morning! The teriyaki sauce was gloopy and salty, one of the worst teriyaki sauces I've ever tried. Sushi rice was dry and the rolls fell apart before they could get to my mouth. The salad dressing - they tried to make that typical ginger/carrot one EVERY sushi place uses - was bitter and nasty. From what I could decipher, they'd pureed some lemon seeds in with the rest of the ingredients. This was a huge disappointment of an order.

Their vegetarian stuff is pretty great. I think there's an inconsistency with what they use for their veg chicken, though. One day my vegetarian chicken was wheat gluten based, and then another day my vegetarian chicken was soy protein based. I don't mind really because it's all delicious as far as standard Chinese food goes. Fast delivery too. I like this place! :)

Huge menu, so can only speak for the Chinese portion of the menu. It was really delish for Chinese take out and did't remind me of your average dirty Chinese take out. Chicken and black bean sauce and Broccoli with garlic sauce pretty damn good. Will order from them again.

Despicably awful. They should be ashamed to charge money for this horrible stuff. To be fair, I should have known better than to order sushi rolls from a place that also makes Chinese food. But this was just unimaginably bad. Grocery store rolls would have been ten times better. I spent over $20 and couldn't finish even a quarter of my food. Save your money and order from somewhere - anywhere - else.
