This afternoon I ordered from Asian Wok, because it had so many positive reviews. I purchased Won Ton Soup, an egg roll, and Roast Pork Lo Mein with Fried Rice. I was so completely dissatisfied, and am shocked at how many positive reviews this restaurant has received. My Won Ton soup was weak and tasteless, and the won tons themselves were mushy and revolting. I ate one won ton, and then threw out the rest of the soup. I tried the egg roll next. It was awful. It tasted like it was made solely of warm lettuce. I took one bite, and couldn’t even fathom taking another. That went into the garbage next. Finally, I opened my Lo Mein and Fried Rice. I was honestly thinking to myself how it would be practically impossible to screw up Lo Mein, especially with Soy Sauce on the side. I was wrong. The noodles were so thoroughly over-cooked, that they were a mushy blob; some sort of lettuce-type substance made up most of the rest of the meal; the roast pork was 95% fat; the friend rice had no flavor and was UNDERCOOKED. After attempting to eat my only lunch for a few minutes, I quickly gave up, and threw it out. The thought of taking another bite was making me nauseous. This was the most disgusting Chinese food meal I have ever encountered. It was absolutely repulsive. Will never even consider ordering from here again.

I am shocked about some of the negative reviews on here, and honestly believe they were written by people with alterior motives. I live and I work in the financial district, and order from Asian Wok all of the time; at least once a week. I have NEVER had a problem with their delivery time, nor have I ever had a problem with their food. FiDi needed a good Chinese restaurant and Asian Wok delivered.....bar none.

Yum! Shrimp fried rice actually has real size shrimp in it, not the popcorn size! Food has always been good, delivered quickly and hot. I'll continue to order form Asian Wok :)

great food with good option when you order the lunch combo. I would suggest going with the soda over the eggroll or spring roll though.

This place is solid. Quick delivery and everything is hot and well prepared. The chicken wing are especially crispy and delicious. Excellent value also.

Really disappointing food. Sesame chicken was gooey. Rice was soggy. Cold sesame noodles were awful. The combination meal comes with an egg roll which was soggy as well. I strongly urge you to order elsewhere!

living downtown means there is NO good chinese food for delivery. in terms of the local stuff, this is about average - meaning not very good. the fried rice really doesn't look like fried rice. the chicken with broccoli sauce is pretty goopy. the moo shu pork is passable - salty but tasty and the right consistency - probably one of their better dishes. the chicken in the Gen Tso's has too much fat & gristle for my taste, but the dish is flavored well. If good chinese is critical to your life being satisfied, move out of Tribeca.

Shrimp with mixed vegetables was decent - big shrimp, lots of veggies. Vegetable moo shoo was tasty - a nice mix of veggies and the pancakes didn't fall apart as they sometimes do. Delivery speed was reasonable. Only negative was cold noodle which had almost no sauce - I had to doctor it. Prices were ok. Overall slightly better than average but nothing outstanding.

How do you claim to never receive an order yet tell me you can deliver the order ASAP without asking what the order was? Food is okay, delivery time is horrendous

I live across the street and decided to try this restaurant based on all the good reviews. I've concluded that the reviews are fake. I got General Tao chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. i couldn't bite the egg roll, it was hard. The chicken coated with a sweet sauce, duck sauce maybe? Well, it was the color of duck sauce. And the peas in the fried rice were hard and the rice had no flavor. The only good point, delivery was fast. I usually keep leftovers, I threw it away after a few bites. I will stick with my regular spot, more expensive, but well worth it. I only gave a star for the quick delivery.

Food is relatively cheap, have ordered here a lot, even though I don't prefer their food. Last time though, my regular haunt was closed and it took well over an hour for the food to arrive. The delivery guy arrived while I was on the phone asking where the food was, and he got a bit surly that I didn't give him a tip. Leaves me wondering whether I'll ever order from here again.

Fast delivery but General Tso's was bright red and weird, and I was sick the next day.

The food is so-so. The only reason I scarfed it down was because the delivery was almost an hour late.
