Bamboo Ya

For the price, Bamboo Ya is pretty good. The fish tastes fresh, and the rolls are decently sized. I've only ordered delivery/pickup, but the service has always been fast.

I use to order 1-2times a week from this place. Today, this delivery man arrived with my order and told me " our restaurant is far from your address." This delivery man have a attitude, makes me feel unwelcome to order from this restaurant. Is it because I tip too little? Or is it because he don't want to delivery order that far? Anyway, he get what he wish for, I will never going to order anything from this restaurant.

I always order from them~ sometimes my fried ice cream melted sometimes it didn't but it's okay no complain~ they are pretty speedy with the delivery

Not a fan, and not sure why they got such high ratings. I'm no expert but I got the feeling the fish wasn't top quality, and there were a few tough pieces in the roll.

The food arrived cold and it was wrong! I ordered the curry puffs and got the calamari, which were crappy. Everything else was correct, but was cold! Will never order from them again, not worth a penny!

This restaurant is being rated a 3 because their food is excellent and deserves a 5, but the delivery service deserves a 1. Also to preface, this is one sour incident, so I will be fair and say this may or may not be an accurate assessment. I had ordered our food at 7:30pm, and being lenient, I gave it an hour and 10 minutes before calling the restaurant to follow up. It was told to me that the order was ready, but for whatever reason, was not taken out for delivery. Short one-word apology, and he told me he'd send it out right away. I live near the restaurant, and have been there before. Knowing how long it takes to get there from my house, and because my food didn't actually show up until about 9:20, I am likely to believe that my food was not actually ready, and that they had forgotten my order until my call. I wished they offered some sort of consolation, but did not. My husband was not happy with their simple "sorry", and I regret a little how lenient I was with them.

Solid Sushi, Everything we tried so far was very good. Have ordered from here at least 10 times and the quality is very consistent which is important when it comes to sushi

I waited over 2 hours for the food to arrive. OVER TWO HOURS. I called a few times and got the same response, "its busy night, food on the way" Needless to say the food (rice, chicken, soup) was cold

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. WORST SUSHI EVER! The spicy tuna was an odd really red color and tastes like imitation tuna. The shrimp tempura roll was also awful. The "tempura" on the shrimp tastes like it was made with corn meal. I ordered a side of rice and spicy mayo. They forgot the rice and the spicy mayo was HORRIFIC - it was thick like butter or over-whipped cream. If you're in the Rego Park area order from Tomo or Sake.

I would say this is the best sushi on Queens Blvd. It's fresh and cheap. The only thing that bothers me is their watered down soy sauce. I make sure I have my own before ordering.

I've ordered from this place twice, and both times the sushi was subpar. Their lunch special price is pretty good price-wise, but even the soy sauce tasted bizarre (unsalty soy sauce???). Considering their three dollar sign rating, I was very surprised...
