Authentic Italian brick oven pizza and everything else that I have tried on the menu is good too. Calamari and tiramisu are a must with every order.

The pizza is delicious! But it is annoying that they do not cut it for you when delivered.

They don't cut the pizza on delivery orders. They exhort you to re-heat the pizza once you receive it. Hey, if I wanted to work that hard, I'd make my own pizza. So that was a turn-off. The food? Mediocre at best. And there's sugar in this very limp sauce.

We order from this place all the time. Everything we have tried has been excellent. Best pizza in Astoria, by far. They use quality ingredients for all of their dishes, and the chef is a native Italian from Piemonte. The delivery is super fast, every time. They arrive in like 20 minutes! You will not be disappointed by this place. Ever!!

This was the worst meal I ever had. Terrible pizza. The salad wasn't good either. How can you mess up a simple salad? I took over 60 min for the order to arrive.

Not your typical pizza place. More like a gourmet option. The food is very very good and portion sizes are generous. I would recommend eating in, but the take out is fast and reliable. A must try in Astoria.

Great place for pizza in Astoria! I've been here several times and have been satisfied every time. I had pizza delivered once and the delivery guy followed my "special delivery instructions" because he actually spoke English! He was friendly too. Can't go wrong here.

Pizza is the best you can get In Astoria, if you are looking for proper italian brick oven, Naples style Pizza. The owner, Daniele, is a fun and lovely person, always taking care of his customers. The product is great, price are also affordable, a Margherita at 10.00 is more than reasonable for me, and my favorite, the impepata di cozze (the mussels apetizer) , is only 8$ and it tastes just like in my home country, it is truly amazing. The only drawback when you order delivery is the small boxes they use for the Pizzas. I found it really annoying to find my Pizza folded at the edges, which sometimes causes the pizza to arrive a bit messy. i hope they will address this by purchasing slightly larger boxes.....But beside this I rate Basil 5 stars!

got the capricciosa. didnt see the artichokes or olives. the pizza is too soggy to be held. i had to add salt. the muzzi had a light, tasty, real cheese flavor. lots of good choices but i fear they'll all be soggy as the crust just isnt thick enough to hold any topping.

TERRIBLE customer service! I will absolutely never ever order from them again! The customer service of the manager or owner (not sure which) was the most mind-blowing (NOT in a good way) experience of all time. On Seamless you can put in notes with your order. We requested 4 sides of tomato/pizza sauce (we like to dip the crust in) which we had no problem paying for. But it was CLEARLY in the notes, and when the pizza was delivered, it was printed at the top of the receipt. But after the delivery guy left and we opened up our order, there sides of tomato sauce were NOT there. Not the end of the world, but when you have a taste for something, it is really disappointing to not get what you ordered and what you were expecting. I wasn't about to call them up and demand that they then bring the sauces...the place isn't that close and it was pouring rain and by the time they would have gotten it to us anyway, our food would be cold. But I felt the management should know about their mistake so that they are sure to read the notes carefully next time. After eating I called just to kindly let them know. I have worked in restaurants for 20+ years, and I would want to be made aware and want my customers happy and to return. However when I called, the manager or owner (not sure which, but he informed me that he was Italian and did not have great English) was extremely patronizing, kept talking very quickly and loudly over me every time I tried to talk and actually accused me of LYING and saying that I did NOT put that order in. I told him it was on the receipt in my email order from Seamless and on the printed receipt that was delivered, but he kept talking louder and louder over me and insisting that I did not put that request in!! I asked him if he was actually arguing with a paying customer and he just kept doing the same! Unbelievable! I have never experienced such hideous, self-righteous, aggressive behavior from a business (that I gave my money--and a lot for so little!--before).
