Beautifull

Food is delicious, but they forgot to send an an item so we had a very hungry employee. The worst part was that the customer service line was perpetually busy, and when I called Seamless to dial the emergency contact number, all she got was a voicemail. Pretty horrible customer service for such pricey food.

Want to like this place but a few things really bug me. 1) Delivery is slow and food always cold when it arrives; 2) I always check the box asking for utensils and napkins and they never bring any; and 3) no matter how many times I order a chocolate chip cookie they always bring me oatmeal raisin instead. WTF! At least call me first and let me know I should brace myself for that kind of disappointment...

Hands down, my new favorite spot to order from! Even my coworkers who aren't super into the veg/vegan/healthy stuff loved the food.

I had previously put a really positive review up here, but had to take it down because of how inconsistent this place is. Often my orders come very late, and the state of the food changes from order to order. It's still one of the healthiest delivery options in sf (coming from nyc, the delivery options are really rough here), and when the food is good, it's really good, but can't give a glowing review.

Updated 9/12/11 - Ordered on 9/6/11 on behalf of co-workers. I wasn't here to actually receive the order, so I cannot be positive, but it appears that the sandwiches were not labeled with the type of sandwich they were (seasonal veggie, turkey pesto, chicken salad, turkey meatball) and the unwrapping of the sandwiches didn't make it too obvious as to the type. So my vegetarians ended up taking a bite into the turkey pesto sandwiches. Other than that, my co-workers seemed to enjoy the food; but I will need to remove the one star for the lack of labeling. ____________________ 4/29/2011 - The delivery of the food was quite prompt. I'm not sure if the Thai Tofu salad wasn't the same one I tasted in the winter or if it was because I didn't eat it right away (but kept it out thinking I would eat it soon) but it wasn't as good as I remember from earlier. The two different quinoa salads that I ordered as part of the 3 side dish plate were quite tasty. The one issue that I did have with the meal was that the restaurant could not confirm whether or not the polenta fries were gluten free (I wanted to share them with a co-worker who is on a g-free diet).

We order from Beautifull quite frequently when working late nights at the office. In this past week, they've messed up our order twice. The first time, they forgot an entree. The second time, they delivered our food more than 2 and a half hours after we submitted our order AND they forgot an entree. 9 p.m. Waited 2.5+ hours. No dinner for me. It's pretty unacceptable.
