Boca Grande (Cantina Mexicana)

I have ordered from Boca Grande pretty regularly and their track record has been consistently good. I live about 2 blocks from the restaurant and, in the past, they have delivered in 30 minutes or less. The food is still hot, crisp items stay crisp, and cool items stay cool. My most recent order arrived 60 minutes after I ordered (still within the stated delivery window). The food was a mess. The styrofoam containers looked as though they have been vigorously shaken. Sauces were spilled all though the containers. The food was warm, not hot, all crisp items were coated with steam and became soggy. They are priced a little higher than most Mexican restaurants and usually they earn it. This, however, was my last Boca Grande experience. I paid $27 for two appetizers and they were delivered in an inedible condition.

I orded the Chicken Quesadillas, which I LOVE! when they arrived I open the box and 1st the bag was all greasy. That was when my brain knew something was wrong. 2. the Quesadillas were all smooshed to one side. 3 there was so much grease under the quesadillas that the actual quesadilla was mushy and gross. The Guac was too spicy. Let me tell you that the Chicken Quesadillas were the only reason I order from these guys. now I've taken them off my list. No more Boca Grande!

this place is AWFUL!!!!!!!!! they slop the food together and send it out looking like something out of the trash. i tried it once and it was garbage so i tried it a second time and ordered something you can't mess up unless your dumb and dont care what you serve that's right a BURGER and they sent me raw meat that was browned on the outside this is a 2 1/2 in thick burger so imagine how disgusted i was when i cut it in half and saw raw hamburger meat i mean it literally was like i took it straight out of the package raw. so i call there restaurant ot let them know [SINCE I WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR IT] and the girl laughs at me on the phone and repeats everything i say back to me then laughs again and says she isn't giving me attitude...then she proceeds to make me more angry than i was before i called and ends up taking my number telling me the owner will call me and now ive been waiting a good 15 mins for a return call.

Awesome, high quality food. Professional delivery. The price is higher than average for Mexican but portions are generous.

Really really terrible. Ordered 2 taco salads. The salads themselves looked ok. They came with the meat on the side to prevent the salad from getting soggy, which was good. However, the meat was extremely greasy. There was 1/2 inch of grease along the edges inside the container. There was also a bug (a living one) on top of one of the meat containers. Eww. I won't be ordering from here again.

Food was made with fresh ingredients and the portions were generous for the price. We ordered the Classic burrito and the Baja wrap, and would recommend both.

I very much appreciate the staff taking the time to call and confirm the added instructions for my order. Delivery came ahead of the time predicted. The veggies on my Taco Salad were delicious. My only criticism is that there should have been more beans as I ordered the vegetarian version. Very good.

before I knew this place delivered, I got my mexican food fix from a chinese restaurant! Delivery was faster than expected and everything was packaged professionally, it made unpacking everything a joy.

First time we ordered, great. Second time it was still good, but the amount of meat in everything had become really small -- for example the burrito was jammed full of rice and beans, a few chunks of meat in the front and end. Hoped it was a fluke and tried one more time, no dice. Guess the honeymoon was over. No more orders from us.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Order arrived cold after 1 hr 40 mins, every time we called after 45 mins of placing the order, the person said the delivery guy is on his way... the food wasnt any good either....
