Bombay Kitchen

I wanted to say I always order from here because the food is fabulous. I tip a large amount because I expect my food to be delivered to my door. I have never had any issues with Bombay Kitchen until this Sunday and I am VERY disappointed at the lack of professionalism and courtesy I received. I received a call saying that the food is downstairs and I said please come up. The man said "I'm double parked" and I said that I was sorry, but I didn't know they were a) delivering via vehicle and b) not bringing my food upstairs. I said I had tipped in order for my food to be brought upstairs. I was very sick and not able to get downstairs. When he came up and I said thank you he gave me the a very bad look and said "Don't ever order from us again" and proceeded to mumble something which I can only assume wasn't nice. I cannot believe how rudely I was treated and definitely will be letting my friends know about this. About 10 of us live in this neighborhood and order from here weekly (I ordered on Friday as well). Great food BAD customer service.

Was jonesing for some Indian Cuisine. Bombay Kitchen is a gem in the middle of Bushwick! I cannot wait to order again. The Lamb Vindalu was DELICIOUS and the chicken tikka was a hit for a picky eater. Will be ordering again and soon!

The food at Bombay Kitchen is actually good, but they are getting 1 star from me because the service is horrible. On a recent evening I waited almost an hour and called them. The woman who answered put the phone down and walked away, so I could hear her conversation with a co-worker. She never came back to the phone. I hung up and called again, thinking they must be busy and she forgot to come back. Again, she said "hold on," put the phone down and never came back. I called a third time and said, "do not put me on hold, I need to know the status of my order," and she explained to me that Indian food takes a looooong time to cook because there are many spices in it (this was the explanation, verbatim). I said that it sounded more like they didn't see my order come through, it hasn't been made yet, and that they were stalling for time. I received the food about an hour and a half after I ordered. There is usually something missing from any order I place from here, so even though the food is good, I don't order from Bombay Kitchen anymore.

Delivery was only 20 minutes during dinner hours, food was cooked exactly to order and my request for meat instead of vegetables samosas was fulfilled! I will be ordering from Bombay again in the future.

Food came quickly. Tasted good. Indian food is always expensive so the price wasn't bad. Love the meal deal, it comes with everything I usually order with 1 click!

Always great food, highly recommended. Huge portions too. Delivery ranges from 15-60 min, just depending on how staffed/busy they are I guess. I don't understand the problem with having to go downstairs & I live on the third floor. Lazy peeps, I tell ya.

The jury is still out. It's the first time a delivery person has asked me to come downstairs (we have an elevator; no workout required) and "medium" spice was much closer to "extra spicy." I suppose I'll order mild for future, but it all really upset my stomach...which is normally made of steel.

The food is pretty good, but they have never taken less than an hour to deliver. More recently, the delivery guy has been trying to make me come down to get my food rather than delivering to my door. I love Indian food, but I'm definitely gonna try a different place next time I'm ordering out.

Delivery takes a while and they won't come upstairs when they arrive but food wise this is solid Indian delivery. Just order before you're starving!

I've ordered from here 3 times now and am always happy. The mild tikki masala special is awesome, I always have 3 meals worth of food for 13$. (Don't mess around with the medium unless you're into SUPER hot.) They arrive within the time seamless says every time, if not sooner, and the delivery people are rly nice and walk up the food. My first delivery choice for seamless now!

Delivery guy didnt want to come up! Was was ok, rice was great, the samosas was ehh and the malai kufta was so off what is should be... i knew it as soon as i saw the color.

i recommend not ordering from here. we just gave this restaurant another chance and it was a total disappointment. the fish was rotten and the chicken was dry. we threw out more than half our order. the previous order was inedibly spicy. needless to say we're not ordering from here again.

I ordered from this place a couple of times and I am always satisfied with their food. Last time I ordered Sag Peneer and Chicken Curry. Chicken Curry particularly was great.
