Bread Brothers Bagel Cafe

This was a favorite restaurant but recently found out not all juices in my "fresh squeezed" juice are actually fresh. Indeed it seems the pineapple juice is from a can. When I had asked before about the juice in their fridge, I was told they make some juices fresh at the beginning of the day. But another day when I saw them open a can of pineapple juice, I asked again and was told the fresh pineapple doesn't come in my smoothie... They said that the fresh pineapple was for a different smoothie. This was with me standing there watching it being made!! Of course it didn't make any sense and I realized that any smoothie I ordered on seamless might not actually be fresh juice, since this was now their policy, which seems very sneaky and underhanded. Hey, maybe I'm the only one who cares but if it says fresh squeezed juices, nothing should come from a can.

Excellent breakfast (make your own egg white omelette!). Delivery was a bit slower than predicted but I ordered just before peak time, so that's understandable. Great option for bushwick.

Took over 1 hour to deliver 2 juices, which were clearly processed in a blender rather than a juicer. I was literally chewing pieces of kale and spinach... GROSS!
