Buon Appetito

The food is so good at Buon Appetito, that they can take as much time as they need to get it to me. I order from them all the time, probably once a week or more (almost embarrassed to admit, but they really do have some good, healthy options that make it possible to do so without becoming obese). Have done this consistently for over a year. Never even once disappointed with my food. Guys that work there are nice if you go in person, and they treat you the way you treat them. Highly reccomend

Okay I gotta ask... did I receive food from the same restaurant that everyone seems to be raving about? The ravioli & mozzarella sticks were fine so I'm doubting either were homemade, however both the "marinara" and the pasta sauces (which I'm sure came out of exactly the same can) were SO watered down! I will say that the tiramisu was pretty tasty; it was just annoying that we had to wait to eat it because it came to us frozen. The icing on the cake of the whole experience had to be the delivery man, who called to tell me that I "had to come downstairs to get my order." When I told him I'd buzz him in he acted as if it were the end of the world to have to come up because he was double parked, grumbled something on the phone and hung up. I ended up going downstairs to get my order but at least he got out of his car and met me on the sidewalk! How gracious of him. I don't like writing bad reviews but couldn't let this one go. Definitely won't be ordering from here again, but I do hope anyone that does will have a better experience than I did. Buon Appetito... you just might if you don't order from here.

Can never go wrong with Buon Appetito. Great pizza, pastas and entrees. Food is always delivered in a timely manner, everything is hot and fresh and the portions are big. I have yet to be disappointed with any i've ordered.

We order from here at least once a month; consistent quality and service. We live at the far reaches of their delivery area but you wouldn't know that by how fast the food is delivered and it is always hot. Delivery people are always friendly. We have recommended Buon Appetito to many of our friends in Jersey City.

I normally don't order Italian food for delivery because it doesn't travel well. Buon Appetito's food, otoh, travels very well. They even have my favorite flavor of Snapple!

Exceptionally good Italian food. This is the best Italian joint in the neighborhood, hands down. Arguably, pizza is better elsewhere but for everything else... Buon Appetito.

Great food. Favs- Meatball parmigiana sub, pizzas, buon appetito antipasto salad. However, very very long delivery time- always took over an hour or close to 1.5 hours deliver which is a big downer. Order well in advance of hunger pangs! :)

This is my new favorite place to order from. I have tried so many things on their menu and they have all been fantastic. The bolgonese is one of my favorites to order and they also have really great homemade soups! I recommended this place to coworkers and they have also loved everything that they have tried and order from here every week. The delivery is always fast and the delivery people are all very friendly and nice. Anyone who loves authentic Italian food should definitely try Buon Appeitito!

Horrible employees! Ordered delivery from them. Said it would be 45 mins to one hour. A little after an hour I called to check on the order since it was late. They put me on hold and came back and said that my order is already out for delivery and should be there soon. After another 20 minutes, I called again to check on the order. They put me on a long hold and said "ummm, we don't know anything about your order." I told them that didn't make sense because they told me 20 minutes ago that my order was out for delivery. So I asked to speak to a manager about the issue and they hung up on me. I called back 2 minutes later, a different employee picked up the phone, I asked to speak to the manager and they hung up on me again. I called back a third time, and the phone just rang and rang.... Awesome customer service. Clearly they screwed up and misplaced my order, and instead of dealing with it, they treat their customers like garbage.

Great food, awful service. I made an order for delivery as I have many times, the delivery guy told me it was too far (I never had that issue before). He disrespected me in front of my co-workers. When I called to speak with the manager he refused to have someone pick up the food as I no longer wanted it after that display of respect. The manager not only laughed at me after letting him know what happened. There was no apology, and the manager refused to refund me money. Very unprofessional.

I won't order any more. Food is great and I used to order regularly but the minimum delivery tip is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to tip a delivery person $4 or $5 dollars for crappy service. Last time he would't even take the elevator 4 floors to my apartment - he made me come down. I went down and he wasn't even there - I had to stand in the street to wait for him (but he already had an overtip guaranteed so what did he care if he did a bad job).

Whats with the minimum tip increasing with the order. 18% tip on delivery(no option to reduce it) and still late, no thank you.
