I like the food. It is never, ever on time. The window says 45-60 minutes. 45 is laughable. Always at least 75 minutes. I live about 7 blocks away from this place and I usually order staples. So the only thing that I can think of is that there is zero pressure on them once someone has already paid to deliver it in anything resembling a prompt manner.

I would give a higher review if I hadn't had such a terrible delivery experience the last time I ordered. The first time delivery was prompt within the time window. The last time delivery time was over an hour and a half - and repeated calls to the restaurant only got empty promises of the driver being on the way. Other than that - the food was good, basic Indian fare. I enjoyed my saag paneer, goes great with the extra naan you can order.

Overall, pretty good Indian that tastes even better the second day. The garlic naan was particularly good. And arrived 15 minutes early, piping hot.

My favorite Indian restaurant in D.C. When dining at the restaurant, there is rarely a wait, the staff is courteous and attentive without being too in-your-face, and the ambiance is perfect for having a conversation with friends. And best of all, not as pricey (or pretentious) as the other Indian places in D.C. When ordering delivery, the food is always piping hot, fresh, and just as wonderful as dining in. You can also call them directly to order delivery.

Decent, but not amazing, food. Most of the chicken dishes are good, especially the chicken and spinach and chicken tandoori, although small. The food is a little over-priced, but you're not going to find much better unless you go downtown. Going downtown would probably be quicker. Even on weeknights this place takes over an hour to deliver your food.
