Catskill Bagel Company

This place is a joke. I have tried giving them a chance because I like their food but my patience has been exhausted. They never deliver in the estimated quote time and the food is always cold by time it gets to my door. This morning they quoted 30 - 45 minutes, I was about to call after waiting an hour and a half but then the food showed up as I was about to pick up the phone. When I realized my omelet and potatoes were ice cold I called to speak with a manager at the restaurant. The first time I called somebody answered and hung up. I called back and asked for a manager and the guy on the phone said nobody was there. I asked if there was somebody I could speak to and he said "the owner is not here." I asked again if I could speak to anybody overseeing things and he said, "the owner is very busy right now." Catskill has good food but they should NOT be in the delivery business if they have no idea how to manage this branch of service. Simply because I am not a guest in the building does not mean my patronage is unimportant. It is obvious that Catskill Bagel Company does not take enough pride in its food to ensure that delivery guests receive it promptly or even warm. There are plenty of great breakfast places on Seamless to order from, don't waste your time or money on this one.

The food is less than mediocre, the service is well below that. I had placed an order and asked that an item not have onions in it by clearly commenting in the comment section of that item, the item came with onions. That was strike one. The next order I placed was for a few items, one of which was the pancakes, 2 eggs bacon and coffee of which i did not receive the eggs nor the bacon, that was strike 2. They came in 90 minutes instead of the 30-45 which was stated as the estimated delivery time frame in the email. I called them and whoever answered was rude and just yelled "it will be there any minute" and hung up. Being extremely upset and not wanting to deal with them anymore I called up seamless for a refund on that item. The gentleman at Seamless was very nice and professional and told me that he would contact the Catskill Bagel Company to request a refund. He then got back to me and said they refused the refund and that I should have called them up so that they can send me the missing items. Yes that is what I wanted, to wait another 90 minutes for the 2 missing items to come while the already cold food would get colder and make my 2 year old wait even longer. Seamless was great, the Catskill Bagel Company is awful. Will not be ordering from them again.

Catskill is great when you actually go to dine in, but delivery isn't as delicious. The food is always cold and not as 'fresh' as I would prefer. It also takes them forever, which probably explains the quality of the food by the time it gets to you. I recommend physically going to Catskill, but I really can't recommend delivery from here.

The food is great, however, the delivery time is UNBELIEVABLE. I have been waiting an hour and a half (I am writing this as I wait). Each time I called, a RUDE young hispanic girl answers the phone and tells me that the delivery had left... I live 4 blocks away from the restaurant itself, it shouldn't take an hour and a half for a Proscuitto panini and a muffin. Well, my food just arrived and the delivery man was also extremely rude. My food is cold. I couldn't be more pissed. It's odd, because when I actually GO IN to Catskill Bagel Co, they're fast and very nice. THEY SHOULD NOT OFFER A DELIVERY SERVICE AND CHARGE A FEE IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE LATE ALL THE TIME AND RUDE. BOTTOM LINE.

Really nice folks run this spot. Super friendly when I go in and they have pretty good food / bagels. However, when I get food delivered there always seems to be at least one thing incorrect but it's usually not *too* big of a deal. I just wish they'd double check orders before delivering.

Wonderful food and friendly people. Don't order coffee on delivery, it's usually made wrong or the cup has leaked everywhere. Also don't let that stop you from ordering or heading into the store, the bagels are done right and the specialty sandwiches are delicious. Pull Pork and the Cortelyou Lox are two of my favorites.

Amazing Carrot & Beet Juice! I had the most delicious Egg Bagel, with their fresh Lox! I highly recommend! Great service, quick, great ingredients and food!

They have the best bagels in the neighborhood, plus tofu cream cheese and soy milk! A plus for us vegans. Fast, friendly delivery, but be aware, their delivery person isn't in until 8:00am.

I've been home sick the last few days, and Catskill Bagel has been a godsend. They make such WONDERFUL soups, and deliver promptly. They also have wonderful bagels and smoothies. I highly recommend this place.

The food here is great, especially the all day breakfast. It's my favorite neighborhood spot to eat, though the coffee could be better. They also have wonderfully fast delivery!

food is excellent, but every time I have ordered, it has arrived over an hour after placing the order (once over an hour an a half). When I called to inquire after the hour had passed, the woman on the phone was very rude. The last time I ordered it came exactly on time.

The food arrived over an hour later than they said. Despite the fact that it was cold it was Still one of the worst (and smallest) Reuben sandwiches I've ever had, the bread obviously came from a grocery store and there was almost no sauerkraut. The delivery guy seemed quite upset at me for no reason and didn't even have a pen for me to sign for it. I will not order from here again.
