I have not reviewed Chimichurri Grill in awhile, so I am updating my post. This place continues to serve some of best steak in Hell's Kitchen, whether you visit the place or get it by delivery. I am puzzled by some of the negative views, though some of them complain about portion size. In our current culture, portion sizes have gotten out of control, so maybe that has influenced people's expectations. This truly is awesome food, and I have never had any delivery problems.

Chimichurri grill is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Having the luxury of being able to order online for delivery is great! I always find the food to be well worth the few extra bucks, their steaks are amazing, and their garlic fries sooooo yummy. Delivery is always faster than stated too.

I just ordered from Chimichurri Grill for the first time, and I had the empanadas Regionales and Mollejas a la Provenzal (veal). The empanadas were really good (tasty) but the veal, it was not my favorite. I will surely order the empanadas again>

Delicious food, yes it's pricey. However, it's worth it and we treat ourselves from time to time. We've tried every Argentine place in Manhattan and two in Queens and this is the tastiest. My wife is Argentine and it's plenty "authentic" for her, especially the Asado de TIra. Best fries around and try the octopus to be blown away. As an American I stick with the more traditional cuts, and they are great, as are both types of chimichurri. Don't believe the doubters, this is a great place, but it's expensive as a result. You get what you pay for.

They get 1 star from me. I have to give credit where credit is due - the food is great, tastes great, WHAT LITTLE YOU GET TO TASTE. I paid $28 for an order of Mollejas - sweet-bread. $50 in most restaurants gets you an entire Parrillada - that's an entire grill bought to your table. A little over half of that here and i get 4 TINY PIECES OF MEAT. What? did they, like, slaughter a virgin cow lined in gold on site?! for $30 i was expecting a full plate. $30 in most places usually includes sides. NOT HERE. $30 gets you 4 pieces of meat, and a loaf of bread - BUT FORGET ABOUT THE BUTTER, THEY DONT GIVE YOU THAT EITHER. bottom line for such an expensive price you eat like a peasant; the food may be great but such a small quantity for such a high price, no thanks. I know places just as good where I can get more for less.

ordered a salad that was supposed to come with tomatoes....no tomatoes. no explanation. was still charged full price though. otherwise food was not too bad. Ensalada de Gaucho -- $17.00 Grilled skirt steak with green chimichurri, Romaine lettuce, baby field greens, tomato, red new potatoes, steamed string beans, topped with crispy onion rings with a citrus vinaigrette dressing.

Do not get the chorizo trio. It's three sausages accompanied by a roll for $18.

The Bífe con Fritas (Lunch) was OK I guess, but the meat not cooked according to instructions (overcooked), possibly due to the fact that it continued cooking a bit more while being delivered. Will probably try again for dinner but not for lunch. Update: Tried the pasta and while it was OK (but not spectacular in any way) the portion was way, way too small - especially for that price. Too bad.
