Chinese Musician Restaurant

The food was decent but took nearly 2 hours after order time, to arrive. Unacceptable. Once we called the restaurant, it took an additional 20 minutes for them to arrive.

Worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Some menu items (like General Tso's) are ok, the rest are terrible. Now I don't mean that they're cheap or greasy, I love both of those qualities and fully expect them from Chinese food. Something is just terribly wrong. I give it two stars instead of one because it is the only Chinese restaurant in my delivery zone that has computerized ordering, and a few dishes are ok. Don't expect to be amazed, or in many cases even satisfied.

I order from this place all the time and while it's not the best Chinese food in new york, it's definitely the best Chinese place in north Greenpoint. Some items that I like a lot are chicken chow fun, chinese broccoli, pork dumplings, and roast duck. Also, the delivery guys are usually fast and always very nice.

Good food but CHRONICALLY late delivery always take over an hour for Chinese food, that's kind of crazy, and they don't understand why I cancel an order at 1 hour and 15 minutes like that is perfectly acceptable...

I grew up in NYC and consider myself a purveyor of cheap chinese takeout. Its all greasy, its all salty, but this is terrible. One of the things i judge my cheap chinese food places on is the brown sauce. Their sauce has no flavor. there may as well not be anything on the food. Next-- they use meat tenderizer. now, i have no doubt that every chinese takeout uses tenderizer, but this is to the point that it is rubbery and chewy, and the beef or chicken does not resemble itself anymore. gross. Finally, they cannot wrap their heads around the idea of a change in an order. I like to get tofu with broccoli in brown sauce but they always send me mixed vegetables because thats whats on the menu, and they either can't figure it out or don't care. Best bet? take out some cash and order from Great Wall further up Manhattan.

They forgot to give me the water I ordered and when I called to tell them this and receive a refund they told me there was nothing I could do about it. When I asked for a manager the woman, Perri was her name - told me there was no manager for the restaurant. I would never order from here again. Save yourself the grief and don't bother.

Its terrible bottom rung chinese with a huge menu. Greasy, bland, squishy. Off the list. The hole in the wall chinese on your corner is probably better.

I haven't tried enough food here to definitively rate this restaurant, but the few things I have tried (roast pork, egg foo young, shrimp & veggies) have been bland and not representative of excellent chinese food. It satisfies a craving somewhat but not in a satisfying way.

Fast delivery. Bad, bad, BAD pork bun - dry and hard. General Tso's was heavy and had a distinct after taste. This is typical small dive Chinese food. I wish it was better.

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. The food smelled bad and they burned the scallion pancakes!!!! The General Tso's chicken was just nasty. Don't waste your money.

This is the worst experience i've ever had ordering food. I ordered two time and both of them I had problems. The first time they made a mistake and bring a different thing, called to let them know and the woman on the phones was the most rude person I've ever talked to, she screemed on the phone and turned off the phone. She didn't fixed or solved the problem. A second time I gave them a chance after few months and same thing happened, never more.

Their delivery times are ridiculous. I purposefully ordered my food a hour before I wanted to eat because the delivery window said 45-60 minutes. It has been 75 minutes and my food is still not here. The food is good, but not good enough to wait 75+ minutes for...

Don't ORDER from here. Slightly disgusting food. I don't want to know how it is prepared- by the taste and looks I could guess that everything is a leftover.
