We love Curry Heights! The food is great (I love the Chana Saag) and their delivery guys are fast! We've had our food at the door in 15 minutes before, which seems to defy physics somehow.

I've been late on writing a review for Curry Heights, especially given how often they make my dinner! I grew up eating my mothers Indian cooking so I'm definitely an Indian food snob. Curry Heights has several authentic tasting dishes which I order at least 1x / week - chana poori being my favorite. I don't know what I would do if they ever left BK Heights! Also, the delivery guys are super nice. They've forgotten my rice a few times but they're back within 10 minutes with it.

I ordered the Vegetable Khorma, the Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Tandoori Chicken, along with a side of Poori and a mango lassi and sweet lassi. The lassis were standard quality, nothing outstanding, but reasonably tasty. The texture was more on the yogurty side. The poori was pretty good, I liked it a lot. The tandoori chicken was somewhat disappointing. Far from the best I've had, but not terrible. The khorma was, as many already wrote, on the thinner side. The chicken tikka masala's sauce was slightly thicker, and more like what I'm used to. Both the khorma and the masala were more on the mild side than I'm used to. I ordered "Medium" for both, but I would consider what I got to be more of a "Mild." In terms of flavor, I liked both of them, but I would definitely go for the "Spicy" level next time. One very high point of the food was the basmati rice that came with the entrees. It's very flavorful and honestly it makes me glad that the flavor of the curries didn't over-power the rice, as they complement each other very well. Overall, though this is not the best Indian food I've ever had, it is nonetheless very yummy, and the convenience and value of this place means I will probably be ordering from here whenever I am in the mood for Indian food. If you live around Brooklyn Heights, this place is definitely worth trying out. Edit: I've ordered from Curry Heights a few more times, and have been exploring their menu a bit. Most of their curries are very tasty, and while the spicyness level is not extremely consistent, it's generally reasonably high if you order it "Spicy." I'm changing my rating to 5 stars because they really do have a lot of yummy dishes, and the delivery is generally pretty prompt (it's only been slow once). I'm definitely glad to have such convenient access to Indian food of this level.

I'm a fan of Curry Height's being as it's also the only indian restaurant that delivers in my area, it's not bad at all. It's hit or miss with the portions, sometimes my Chicken Tikka Masala comes with mountains of chicken, other times a few pieces. Their papa doms are good, and their mango lasso is amazing... But $3 for a tiny pot of mango chutney?? You're having a laugh! Delivery has on occasion taken a very long time, but other than that it's a good solid indian take out. Would recommend!

I had high hopes for this place as the reviews are generally pretty good. Well, disappointing. I ordered: chicken tikka masala, navratta korma (sp? it was the variation of the vegetable korma that also had fruit), and veggie pakoras. Firstly, the chicken tikka masala sauce was fairly watery as opposed to a thicker sauce and could have used a flavour boost. Despite my ordering "medium" spicy, the spice level was very mild, which would have been fine except again, the sauce itself really wasn't very flavourful at all. There were perhaps 6-7 chunks of chicken which seemed very little--all very flavourless esp since the sauce was so liquid it didn't really stick to the chicken. The korma dish I had--which I admit this was the first time i've ever ordered this dish here or anywhere--was a huge disappointment. It was just some boiled veggies in a watery cream/coconut sauce (more soup than sauce and kind of smelled like a cream of corn soup in an unappetizing way) that lacked any flavour except for the richness of the cream/coconut. Here again, I ordered medium spicy and it was quite mild. And finally the veggie pakoras: just hunks of dough deep fried... could not tell there were any veggies in there at all. The portion size is fine and I do have a lot of leftovers... Overall, the chicken tikka masala and veggie pakoras were among the worst I've ever had. Since I've never had the korma before, I can't say how it compares to other places. Looks like the only other indian place that delivers to me is Amin which I might try sometime but considering that place has way fewer stars than Curry Heights, it could be worse???? Overall, disappointing experience but I do love Indian and this might do in a pinch. Although maybe Trader Joe's premade indian is better??

Curry Heights has the best curry in the area- their lunch specials come with naan, but make sure to get some of their awesome samosas as well. Im especially a fan of the hot chicken curry lunch.

Curry Heights is pretty solid, and definitely my go-to delivery Indian option in the area. The appetizer/entree special is a good deal, and if you're not that hungry, eat the samosas and a bit of the entree, and take the leftovers for lunch.

Wishing I'd read reviews before I ordered. I'm having a very similar experience to Zach M. - still waiting on my food. It better be delicious because this is ridiculous and certainly not the kind of wait I've experienced form seamlessweb. When I called to inquire about my order, the man on the phone was rude and dismissive. Boo to Curry Heights! --Updated--- When my food finally arrived, it was underwhelming - bland and mild (when i'd asked for "hot"). Never ordering from here again.

I had to give Curry Heights 5 stars. Not because it's as good as some of the famous Manhattan Indian restaurants, but for a local, quick, relatively inexpensive place, the food totally exceeds expectations. I'm vegetarian so I've only had veggie dishes. The vegetable vindaloo is ridiculously spicy and very tasty (though we've had it twice and each time it was prepared with a slightly different sauce and some different vegetables). The Paneer Bhurji has been the most pleasant surprise so far. Loved it. All of their Chana dishes are always very tasty as well.

If you like authentic Indian food, this is the best place in Brooklyn Heights. Whenever I feel like having Indian food delivered, I chose Curry Heights. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is the best.

We love Curry Heights for Indian. Though our range with the cuisine is limited we are slowly trying new things and everything we have had from them has been tasty, hot and delivered fast!

So far, my favorite Indian take-out in the area. Nothing fancy or cutting edge here -- just really good, well-prepared classics. The breads and appetizers in particular are very nicely done. All this -- taken with their very prompt delivery service -- makes Curry Heights a winner and a keeper in my book!

We have both ordered in from here and eaten in the restaurant. We find that the food is consistently tasty, especially the crab meat curry and the kati chicken. We like spice and flavor and have found that food from here has both. We have had really delicious Indian and really mediocre Indian, and this definitely falls closer to the delicious. It's not the BEST EVER, but it definitely satisfies. Delivery time to our place (4 blocks away) is usually 30 minutes.

Reliable Indian food in the Heights. I always go with the vegetarian entree two-course deal (and I'm not even vegetarian). It's a little pricey for a night-in meal, but it's a substantial amount of food that usually yields some leftovers.

The food got to us in good time but the curry was too soupy and under spiced. Disappointing.
