DAO Thai Restaurant

Good shumai, average tofu mussman. Hard to really tell because only warm--delivery was an hour forty when maximum expected was an hour fifteen. I also didn't notice that rice was not included.

It is quite difficult to make actually terrible thai food. Our wonton with bbq pork noodles and DAO's noodles delight were mushy and tasteless (at best). The one redeeming quality of our meal was that it did succeed in eliminating our appetites. It was honestly so bad that it was quite funny. Also, the delivery took an hour and 20 minutes. To be fair, maybe we caught them on a bad night, or got the wrong dishes, or something...

Delivery took over an hour and they gave me the wrong dish (pad thai, I ordered panang nue, seemless order history confirms).

Good Thai Food! Not very spicy though, even after asking for it to be spicy. I think Chicago Thai restaurants are scared of spice! Also, very fast! Always on time!

Great food and delivery was only have of the time. The food arrived fresh and quick. The Pad Thai could have had just a little more peanut sauce but other than that it was great. I especially enjoyed the Vietnamese Spring Rolls, one of my favs. Definately would order from here again.

Our office does a monthly Happy Hour and this month we chose a Thai option. I must say the quality of the food was pretty good id rate it about a three and a half starts. the Service on the other hand was not. The order was in all about 45 min late. A status call about the late order was made during that duration and we were told to please wait an addition 10 min but that additional ten minutes ended up being 25. I would suggest them and or give them another chance my suggestion would be to make sure you make a personal call to the restaurant to confirm the order rather than going off of a Seamless Web confirmation.
