Ditch Plains

I Like the salads here, Very fresh ingredients. My husband likes the terrific but ver pricey Lobster Roll . The Fish and Chips are greasy and heavy. The Ditch Dogs are tasty and fun. They like to use salt here, lots of it. The have always delivered to us on time. My biggest gripe with Ditch Plains is the size of their portions. I ordered sides of Brussels Sprouts and of Spinach, We received less than 1/2 cup of each. Seriously less than 1/2 cup. You have to order the large salad here to get what you would normally get anywhere else. All this being said we like their food taste wise, but it's pricey.

It's kind of ridiculous that Ditch Plains won't let you substitute things, like swapping side items of equal value on the menu. Almost every other restaurant in the city lets you do this.

The food is good but the "cream of tomato" soup was a very chunky pasta and tomato soup and the portion was a miniscule half a pint; couldn't you at least fill up the pint container it came in? Likewise with the salad: for $13 we received a tiny bowl of chopped vegetables and NO dressing; not on the side as in the description nor on the salad. At least it didn't count for any weight watchers points. I think next time I need Ditch Plains I'll just make the trek over and get a lobstah roll; the delivery is slow and the portions are tiny. And I'm still freaking starving after having dropped $51.73 for 2 people. Luckily I have a roll of quarters and a vending machine near by.

Usually go for the mainstay--Ditch Dogs which are consistently good. Delivery is fast but I'm very close by. I agree about the Chicken Pot Pie--although I thought it was actually tasty. It just wasn't really what I was expecting.

Yes, they're expensive but I love their customer service and their food is quality. I would recommend the Ditch Dogs (2 hot dog with mac & cheese) and their fish & chips which are lightly battered and fried just right. I've eaten at the restaurant and ordered food for delivery only twice because the prices restrict me from indulging in them often. I've had their staple Lobster Rolls and loved it, but can't find any justification for the $29 price point.

I ordered the regular size seafood cobb salad with dressing on the side. It arrived 15 minutes later and was absolutely awesome. I'm shocked that others had poor reviews for their salads and didn't agree with the pricing. For $16, it included a plentiful amount of salmon and shrimp that were both high in quality and cooked perfectly. It would be difficult to make that salad for one at that price- let alone in under 20 minutes. Plastic containers are deceiving - pour it onto a plate if you doubt the portion. This salad was really really delicious.

I just wanted a simple ceasar salad. I had to order a large salad because of the $15 minimum for delivery. My salad showed up and the container was half full with the "side of dressing" inside taking up the space where the salad should have been. I paid $15 for a half of a large ceasar salad. It's just lettuce and croutons, really?

Vietnamese Wrap is really good and travels well. Delivery is probably more like 30-45 min rather than the 15-30 posted.

The absolute WORST place on seamless web it should be REMOVED over and hour late making me wait and hour an half instead of the 15-30 min. the fries were freezing cold wet and disgusting.... horrible pace with rude costumer service and even ruder delivery people do not waste you money i've never reviewed a place before even if it was bad this place is beyond bad it is terrible!!!!

I have now received literally half raw salmon for the second time. I don't order food so that I end up having to cook it. And this is DESPITE having written "Please cook MEDIUM" in the speical instructions section. We're done with this place.

Do NOT order the Chicken Pot Pie, for that matter, I am dissapointed in everything we ordered...and we have eaten here a few times. So, do not order delivery, it is not worth $14 let alone $45 we were charged.
