Doppio

I have ordered many times from Doppio on seamless and am always happy with the food and service. It is one of our favorites and always a "go to" when ordering for a crowd. Generally I'm ordering pizza, pastas and salads. The food is always on time and hot (we are on Zaccheus Mead) and whether I'm ordering for 4 or 24, I'm confident that they will provide us with a great meal.

Service was terrible and rude. I had placed the order at 10:35 for 11:45 delivery and at 12:45 there was still no food. Only to be informed when I called that it was on its way and that they don't open until 12. Just an idea - dont have delivery options available that aren't.

Dining In the food is always amazing but their take out/delivery is horrible. Orders have taken almost 2 hours (from around the corner) and obviously was ice-cold. They never apologize either. The quality of food is substantially lower when ordering a delivery- pizza was 1/2 the size of the one I received when dining in the restaurant a week earlier. Doesnt seem like they are equipped to accept delivery orders yet.

Doppio charged $11 for a small bowl of soup that was delivered almost an hour later than scheduled. Fail.

Excellent minestrone soup - fresh, homemade, chunks of fresh vegetables. Not inexpensive, but worth it! Arugula salad also very fresh - nice shavings of cheese - delicious dressing (I assume homemade). Olives could be left out for me.

Food may have been good but it arrived 1:45 minutes later and was cold. I would pass for delivery, go for Renapoli instead.
