DuMont Burger

DuMont Burger > Blue Collar (or other burger places in Williamsburg). Great fun. Onion rings are fantastic, burger always amazing, and delivery girl I always get is so nice...well done DuMont crew.

We had heard great things and were looking forward to this meal, but unfortunately we're really disappointed and probably won't order from DuMont again. We ordered the DuMont Burger (w/fries and bleu cheese dipping sauce) and the Veggie Burger with a side of soup (tomato). Delivery took about 45 mins, which was fine, except that EVERYTHING except the soup arrived cold. Specifics: My burger was overcooked (I ordered it medium, it was definitely a well-done dark gray), half of the bun was soggy from grease, the fries were ice cold and floppy and the side of bleu cheese dipping sauce was just funky (for lack of a better adjective). My bf said his veggie burger was really dry and the bun seemed stale... Overall it just seemed like our food had sat somewhere in the styrofoam container, not what you'd expect for $35. Really disappointing!

I've been to DuMont Burger twice before. I ordered the chickpea burger both times and was very satisfied. However, the first time I ordered takeout from them the food seemed less than stellar. For some reason the chickpea burger didn't taste as good. After that experience I stayed away from them for a while, but decided last night that I would give them a go again. This time I ordered the turkey burger and am happy to report it was very tasty! I'm also a huge pickle fan, and their pickles are unique and fabulous!

DuMont Burger is hands down the best hamburger you can get delivered in Williamsburg. A bit pricier than other burgers but well worth the up-charge. Complement your burger with a side of fries or salad (included) and you've got a great mid-day meal you'll be calling on time and time again. Order early because this burger joint gets very busy at peak meal times.

The burgers, milkshakes and mac and cheese and really all of the other treats are super delicious. But can we talk about the delivery guy? He's just about the nicest guy on the planet. Its honestly a real pleasure every time he comes to the door. Sometimes there's little desert treats slipped in my bag and I think it's because of him. I'm pregnant. Tonight there was a gigantic amazingly delicious brownie included in my bag. Can you imagine how much happiness this brought me? If I could hug Dumont I really would.

my favorite place for burgers, shakes, and fries. delivery takes some time but worth the wait. you can NEVER go wrong with dumont burger. try the vanilla shake. amazing.

I live right near and have been going since it opened. It's a strong so so. Service is decent...bartenders good, waiters usually not that great but varies. Burgers are above average, but nothing incredible. I don't think any of the meat is freerange, bovine hormone free, humanely treated, local or any of those good things, but I just emailed to find out so don't quote me. I have to mention, I've had fruit flies fly out of the lettuce when I order take and open the container...kinda sucks. I should've complained, but i was too lazy. Lastly, the place itself is well done, cool spot, good atmosphere.

I've ordered from Dumont nearly once a week for the last year. While I love the burgers and fries, they just raised the price of their food for the second or third time and I just can't shell out $23/w tip for a cheeseburger and fries for my lonely work-from-home lunches.

I've been going here for six years now, and I just had the positively worst burger from them in my life. Delivery time was double what they anticipated, bun was soggy, meat was overcooked, dressing was old, the fries were inedible.
