If you want Mexican food, order somewhere else. The dishes here are mostly Hispanic in the sense of the Caribbean and Central America. So when I say don't order Mexican from this place, it isn't because I've had it and it's not good - THEY'RE NOT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT. There may be some cross over but it's not the same thing. Ordering a burger from a Hispanic restaurant is like ordering pizza from an Asian restaurant - it's not what they (really) do. I order from these guys a lot because their food is consistently good and my favorite is the pernil with rice and beans. The lunch special is particularly awesome. Whether it's family or friends visiting, the first question they ask is, " So, Yayo's - are we ordering in or going?" 'Nuf said...

Bunch of crooks. 20 minutes after placing my order they tell me the menu item isn't available, and they can do something similar. Over an hour after I placed my order a guy shows up at my doorstep with a receipt asking for cash (I had payed with credit card through seamless). Guy refused to give me my order, had to send it back and call seamless to sort them out. DON'T ORDER FROM HERE.

Nothing to write home about. Ordered nachos for 10 dollars. Came with congealed cheese, a ladle of refried beans and a little sour cream. Soggy overall. And nothing else. Not even chopped tomatoes or jalapeños!

Really terribly tasting food. The flavors just didn't taste right. The rice was awful, and the fish was even worse. The coconut flan was really good, delicious, however. Maybe this is a case where the cook isn't very good but the pastry chef is awesome. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I got the Bean Burrito Dish... it was good, big, fresh.. I thought it came with rice and beans on the side, which is why I paid $9 for it, but the "served with rice and beans" refers to the beans and rice that are inside the burrito; which is all that's in the burrito. Lettuce, tomato slices, small containers of guacemole and sour cream come with it; cheese is on top of the burrito.
