Estrella Taqueria

Ridiculous experience with last night's order. One third of order was missing and when we called the restaurant to let them know, they told us to call a random number in the 510 are code to work it out. We called the 510 number and the guy had no idea what i was calling him for and told us to call the restaurant back. Then the restaurant would never answer their phone again. We tried several times. We also ordered a side of shrimp and they literally grilled a single shrimp, and rolled it in a large piece of foil for delivery. At first we thought the bundled up foil was empty until we found the single shrimp in there somewhere. But we came close to tossing that bundled up foil thinking it had nothing in it. The food was also cold. We asked for refried beans but got black etc. We will not be ordering more food from Estrella Taqueria on Haight anymore! We wish we could get our money back or some form of compensation. :( The restaurant clearly couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction but Seamless should worry about doing business with Estrella Shiteria.

Delivery is terrible...took over two hours to receive the order, only after calling the restaurant and having them track down the delivery man. The delivery man was apparently lost then left without calling. Food was good but not worth the frustration and time.

I ordered a burrito with shrimp. After two hours, I received a burrito and a single shrimp on the side wrapped in about a pound of aluminum foil.

What a joke. We ordered fajitas and they didn't send tortillas. When we called back they said their driver was off for the night (it was 6:55 PM) and that they'd "send extra tortillas next time." What do I want with extra tortillas next time? Especially considering there won't ever be a next time. Proceed with caution; they send incomplete orders and don't lift a finger to fix THEIR mistake.

What a pleasant surprise. This place I have ordered from on a few different occasions. Its hard to find a good Mexican restaurant that delivers! This place is definitely authentic. I love their tacos and their stuffed pepper. Guac is awesome as well! Such friendly delivery service.

The food is pretty average but they come on time. Crispy tacos are usually slightly soggy, the regular tacos are fine. It's a decent place.
