Firehouse Deli

Gave up on Firehouse last year because my lunch was always late. Thought I'd give them a try again today, and my lunch was over 2 hours late.

do not order for lunchtime delivery and expect it to arrive sooner than 2 hours. waited longer than that and when it finally did arrive, the order was incomplete. will never order from here again.

Food arrived 2hours 20 minutes after ordering. Called to complain and staff was unapalogetic because they were " really busy". Order arrived incomplete, onion rings weren't in there.

If you want a real man's sandwich, this is the place to order from. I am from NYC and am used to calling them heros...but after having the "wedges" from this place several times.... I will respect the name! Turkey and american with lettuce and tomato and some mayo on a "wedge".... you can not go wrong! The meat is thinly shaved and stacked high. Veggies are fresh and cut nicely, "wedge" is crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.

The wedges are huge; and it's a reasonable amount you pay. Salads are decent, but on a few occasions, the greens were not fresh. The overall service delivery is poor. On a regular basis, lunches arrive between an hour and half to three hours late from the scheduled time. When you call to inquire, they are quite rude. Also, they do not notify anyone if they cannot make the delivery (such as the case during a recent snowstorm - we placed our orders, but they never notified to tell us they couldn't make it).

Ordered Tuna Salad with a large Fruit Salad and and Apple. Instead I got 1. No Apple but Potato Chips instead (?!?) 2. Two Fruit Salads (1 large/1 small) 3. Salad with no Tuna Food was OK but the service: 3 strikes....yer out!!!

I really like Marlin wrap when all the components are included. This time there wasn't any lettuce, tomato or tartar in it, just the wrap, the fish and the cheese.
