Gino's Trattoria & Brick Oven Pizza

Despite the good reviews about this place, I went ahead an ordered a pizza to try my luck with a new pizza joint. I hate to say it, but it really was the absolute worst pizza I have ever had delivered to me. First of all, upon opening the pizza (after the delivery guy had already left) I noticed that there was cheese missing on about 3 slices of my pizza. This may be due to the delivery guy falling over or taking turns too fast but if that's the case then I would get a new delivery guy. We were really hungry so we went ahead and started eating it. I couldn't take more than a few bites. It tasted like it had been microwaved and the crust was quite stale. I called to try to get a new pizza that lives up to the reviews and the manager was quite helpful (although she said they would call back if they were able to deliver a new one and never called back). About 40 mins. later we got a knock with a new pizza. It wasn't missing AS much cheese or anything but unfortunately, this one tasted even worse than the first one. I think the second time they actually microwaved it to make sure it got to us in a reasonable amount of time. I would have much rather waited the extra 20 minutes then have gotten the second pizza we got. It was quite disappointing.

They screwed up my order. Margarita pizza didn't have sausage on it and even then the cheese tasty rubbery and crust cardboardy. The basil wasn't fresh but rather the dry shredded kind that probably came out of a plastic shaker. I also ordered a ginger ale and they gave me a Mountain Dew. Not ordering from here again.

Margherita pizza had rubbery cheese that fell off the pizza in one solid piece. No flavor, dry chewy crust, with almost no sauce and only a few pieces of basil.

Abusive Service The service I received from Gino's was so bad that, even though I would rate their food very highly, I will never again order from them. I ordered a cheese steak from them recently over seamless. When the food arrived, it was not as I'd ordered it, so I phoned them to ask for a corrected delivery. The person on the phone was incredibly rude and treated me as if he believed I was trying to scam them out of another sandwich. When the delivery person arrived with the corrected order, he was extremely rude as well and demanded to see the incorrect food (as if I'd eaten it, hidden it, etc.) WTF!?!? My girlfriend and I used to order from this place at least once a week. Not anymore....I'm not going to be treated like an animal. I won't stand for that.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. They have really great quality food. Well... except the time I ordered the ribeye... Although it was cooked and flavored perfectly, it was very, very fatty -- really simply too fatty. Other than that, no complaints! ~If they buy a better piece of steak, I'll start ordering it again- so keep me posted pls, Gino's.~ Everything else I've had on the menu: heros, salads, sides, apps, pizza, etc. -- delicious! Also, delivery is reasonably speedy. Even with me not located immediately down the street. Thanks, Gino's!

I have lived in this neighborhood for six years and have always enjoyed Gino's food. I love having the convenience of ordering online now, and I have to say the food just keeps getting better and better! I picked up a spinach calzone and house salad tonight and they were both delicious! The salad was fresh and had great ingredients like two different kinds of olives, peppers, and a lovely mix of mesclun greens. The calzone was crusty on the outside and wonderfully cheesy in the inside. Just delicious! I also recently had the plain cheese pizza and it was superb! The service is also very fast and friendly and I always get a smile when I pop in. I recommend Gino's very highly if you'd love some great food fast!

Food pretty good. Although these guys don't understand al dente. Service terrible. Don't get delivery. They forgot my order and when I called pissed after a full hour the guy was extremely rude, blamed seamless insisting the order never came through. I got a confirmation email it did from seamless, just like the other 12 times I have ordered from here in the last month. And 5 minutes later it showed up. Here's what really happened. They made my order and left it to be delivered. Forgot about it. How do I know? The rock hard and burned garlic knots that had gotten stale from sitting out for a LONG time. They can kiss my $60/wk goodbye. Someone please open a good Italian place near these guys.
