Grand Banks Restaurant

Delivery was a respectable 33 minutes. I got half a peking duck and while it was fine, it was not exactly what I expected - the "pancakes" were small, thick and doughy, whereas at other Chinese restaurants I have had pancakes that were more like little tortillas. I don't know which way is more authentic; just a point to note. The plum sauce was also a little less sweet than I'm accustomed, and had a touch of heat in it.

I recently discovered this fantastic restaurant! I can't believe I've missed it to be honest! Been living in Jersey City for 4 years and never knew about it. The food is great. By far the best Scallion Pancakes I've had in 20 years! The Hot & Sour Soup is outrageous too! It's perfectly hot & perfectly sour. They deliver very fast too...sometimes in under 15 minutes! I also really like their combo plates, they offer a good variety and good size portions.

Have been ordering from here for over 4 years. It is good, consistent and fast!! Nothing has ever been wrong, confused or had a problem. Never dined in, can't rate.

Four stars because delivery is always under 15 min for me, and this place does a couple of dishes very well - salt and pepper pork chop and singaporean fried noodle. Both are consistent every single time. I have also tried a couple of bad dishes from the menu. So its really comes down to trial and error.

Food at this place is pretty good. I would avoid the Thai and Japanese food and stick with the Chinese. We live at 70 Greene. Delivery is fast.

Best Chinese (American Chinese) food in jersey city! Fresh ingredients and great service. If you want amazing chinese food, they have a gift for making it healthy and delicious.

i ordered the 1/2 peking duck. the scallions and cucumbers were fresh and the duck was moist and lean. there was a twist: instead of the flat tortilla pancake they had given chinese style bread (like the one that comes with a juicy pork bun). i really liked it and will definitely order again. the delivery guy is super quick and super nice.

Decent modernized asian food. The food here is definitely not authentic asian, however the quality is good enough for a quick fix. Don't expect an authentic dish at all, but more like the modernized version. On the good side, delivery is quite fast and pretty reliable. I would order again.
