Food was great overall, seemed authentic although I've never been to China so what do I know? lol Something I wasn't expecting because I've never had it in my Kung Po/Pao is the Sichuan peppercorns. They totally overwhelmed the taste of the dish, tasting like a super bitter flower. Will not order the Kung Po from here again even though I love the dish generally.

Some of the best Chinese (and Sichuan) around. Also the menu is far more extensive than your standard Chinese menu, which is awesome. Highly recommended if you are in the mood.

The food does not match up to the Sichuan restaurants in NY. But since this is the only one around where I live, its a goto when I am craving Sichuan food.

Outstanding. Simply the best Chinese food in Jersey City and Hoboken area. Order off the classic Sichuan menu for a nice spicy tart. double cooked pork is outstanding. I have never had something I didn't like from there. On average the price is a little more but I think it's worth it for the quality you get. Also delivery driver has a habit of not wanting to come to your door and have you meet him on the sidewalk. I put up with it for the food otherwise that would be a deal breaker.

Best Chinese food around Jersey City area. You have to know what you're ordering though, sometimes they're really spicy. And too spicy can't be good for your stomach. Delivery is a bit on the slower side, especially during peak hours. Try to avoid it. However, food quality is great and I would definitely order again.

Some of the best--and certainly most consistent--Chinese food in Jersey City. Try the Pork Soup Dumplings, they're awesome!

Awesome! Best Chinese food in Jersey City. The Dan Dan noodle appetizer is so great, I order it as my entree. The orange beef rocks too. This is the only Chinese food restaurant in town that I have liked (or loved!) everything I've ordered! Highly recommended.

I was so happy to find out there was a Grand Sichuan within delivery range of my apt when I moved to Jersey City, having been a customer of their Chelsea and East Village locations for years. Generally, the food here is up to the high standard of freshness of their nyc locations. Delivery time is generally less than 30 minutes regardless of the given estimate. I wish they would include more chili oil with the sichuan wontons. Asking for extra sauce in the comments does not help that matter. The braised beef or fish in chili oil, the chong qing chicken (with bones), and the gui zhou spicy chicken are all delicious. I don't have as much experience with their "american chinese food" offerings, so I'm not sure how they do with those dishes.

SERVICE is HORRIBLE! The guy answering the phone (I think it is the owner) is rude and meal was not delivered over an hour. When asked, he said if I don't like the way it is, I can cancel the order. What kind of attitude is that?! I give zero score to this place.

I ordered 1.5 hours ago and I'm still sitting here hungry at 9pm. I know their food is good, but they just can't seem to get their shniezz together when it comes to delivery. Just not worth the risk of this happening every 4-5 times.

Very slow delivery times - food often arrives cold. However, hands down best Chinese on this side of the Hudson!

AUTHENTIC!!! My girlfriend is from China (I've been once) and confirms that this is very authentic. We order form here weekly. We highly recommend the braised beef/fish with spicy chili sauce. The lamb dishes are also excellent. For those who complain they didn't like the food, notice that they ordered off the American portion of the menu. My one negative is that the dumplings are so-so.

Great food but very poor delivery service. The delivery guy is very rude and tries to force you into paying more tip money. Eating there is a better experience in terms of service.

not that great! mediocre at best -- bland sauces - ordered Sesame Chicken - the chicken was nice choice white tender chunks; but the sauce was dry and bland.
