Great India Restaurant

It's been 1.5 hours since I ordered my food and no luck yet! Called the restaurant 30 minutes ago and got the same response as I saw in other reviews, " driver already left and should reach you in 10 minutes!" If you think you might get lucky and others just had bad luck- think again! This place should be taken off seamless.

I'd love to rate the food. But no food yet. :( Over a hour wait (and still waiting) when seemless estimated 30 to 45. Called restaurant for status over 30 min ago. "Driver already left. <click>"

We had a great experience! The food arrived within 40 minutes of ordering and I loved the the chicken tikka masala. I ordered mild because I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice, but this had the perfect amount of kick to make me happy! The boy ordered chicken vindaloo, and he said it isn't the best he had in the city but he would definitely order it again. All around we enjoyed the food, and our will definintely be adding Great India to our takeout rotation!

Portion sizes leave a lot to be desired for the price. Additionally, the option of ordering rice does not exist and they do not tell you that rice is not included. The combination platter had maybe 3 ounces of chicken. What a waste of money!

Vege combo for two had only one samosa. Other than that, food hot when received, promptly delivered and order portions are adequate.

Food is authentic and they are accommodating when ordering mild. This is important when ordering for kids. Food arrived in good shape and very warm. "It is really good"--my 8 year old son. I agree.

Ate there for dinner buffet once, have had two good delivery experiences after that -- it's now our go-to for Indian takeout.

I have to add that the delivery guy did not want to come up. Because he was double parked.... this is part of the deal you have to bring us the food - we paid for delivery.

30-45 minutes? More like 1 hr +. Also, this menu seriously needs to be revised. Would have given a 4-star review, but entrees do not come with rice, and there is no option to order a side of rice on the menu.

Cannot tell you strongly enough how much I would recommend not getting this. They took well over and hour to deliver and the food was cold. Best part was when I called and they hung up on me. AVOID.

Good, solid Indian fare. Also, when I request "mild," most Indian see that as a way of doing "one step down from hotter than the fires of..." well, you get it. They actually do it mild with just a hint of heat, so my poor western-cuisine influenced taste buds don't get harmed in the making of a full belly.
