Green Cafe (E. 58th)

Green Cafe on 58th Street is fantastic. The food especially the Cajun Salmon is something to cause you to hit your mama...lol. Very very good. I am hooked on it. I also just had a large tossed vegetable salad from them, the dressing they used is out of sight. Love it.

In my experience (and I've ordered here numerous times), Green Cafe is super quick to deliver (within the hour) and the food is decent. It's not gourmet quality but for less than $10, why complain? Highly recommended and you can create your own sandwich if you order on Seamless vs GH.

I normally pick this up at Green Cafe and don't even go through seamless but today I ordered and had it delivered instead of being smooth and refreshing it was grainy and warm.

Our business orders from Green Cafe every Saturday and we find that their menu has a great variety, the food is tasty and reasonably priced, and their service is quick. We especially love their rotating hot selection choices. Definitely a good pick for breakfast or lunch!

Got the bacon egg and cheese on a roll i ordered the egg sunnyside up but it came runnyside up. When i bit into it the yoke went everywhere and squirted a foot away. It was a complete mess and disgusting, The egg was so undercooked there was clear slim still on it the egg wasn't even edible.

Sandwiches are hard to mess up. The mozzarella and tomato panini I get from this place is always good and reliable. The chicken soup is good too. Warm and always filling with homemade noddles. A good trusted place for lunch and it's fast! Delivery is usually under 20 minutes.

Salad had way too much dressing on it. There also wasn't enough lettuce. Gave me a wrong topping and left a topping off. Salad was supposed to be chopped and it wasn't. Delivery took 50 minutes for a salad. I won't be ordering from here again. Disappointing.

First time I ordered from here: awesome. Second time: terrible. Had brown, rancid prosciutto on my sandwich. Momma always told me not to trust cured meats from strangers, and she was right.. just because a meat is cured, doesn't mean you can keep it til it turns brown and then serve it to people! On a positive note, the smoothies are amazing..

This is their description of the Chese Quesedilla: Monterey Jack, Cheddar, and Mozzarella chesse with sliced bell peppers, salsa, and cilantro, in a plain tortilla. What arrived was a tortilla with cheese (both kinds) - no peppers, no cilantro and a side of salsa. Will not be ordering from them again. There are too many choices available to continue ordering from a place that does not provide what they describe on their website.
