Hummus Kitchen Amsterdam

Mushroom hummus tasted of raw, very strong, almost rancid onion, completely overpowering the mushrooms. Hummus and pita were okay, nothing special.

takes years to deliver the food... i could have grown my own chickpeas and made hummus in the time it takes them to get the food to your door

Wow. I was so surprised at how good this food is. The flavors are original. I ordered the Egyptian hummus and it was warm and enough for two meals (for me, at least). I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go in and eat.

Terrible service. Hummus Kitchen lost my order. They kept promising it was arriving and it never did. (90 minutes and counting) The said I could not cancel the order as it was done by seamless.

Just received my first order from Hummus Kitchen and was very disappointed. I will not order from here again. I get takeout from Hummus Place on 97th all the time and their food is much, much better! Just delicious. I will stick with them in the future. By contrast, everything I got from Hummus Kitchen had a weird , slightly off taste, even the whole wheat pita. Other items sampled were: green tahini, hot sauce, babaganoush, falafel, and roasted cauliflower. Just not very good. I was very surprised the food was so poor considering all the positive reviews. They were the reason I decided to try out a new place. I guess the Seamless reviews can be misleading.

I recently at at Hummus Place, but they are out of my delivery range, so I figured I would try Hummus Kitchen. The babaganoush was inedible and I had to throw it out. The hummus was ok, but nothing special. Save your money and skip this place.

Delicious food (and tastier and much more varied menu than Hummus Place, their neighborhood rival) but they short on the bread (order is supposed to come with 5 pitas and we only received 3) and they do not bother to read any written instructions or requests that you might have... they just opened the UWS location so hopefully these are growing pains that will be sorted out soon.

Food is fresh and delivery fast. However; very pricey for the amount of food they give you. $18 for a side of rice and 4 medium size keftas... No thanks. Not worth it. The roasted chicken laffa had more chopped cucumbers than chicken. I could have paid $10 for all this instead I'd the $30. Lesson learned

Mediocre. Portions are small and prices are high, considering what you end up getting. My chopped was nothing special.
