Ideal Mini-Mart

Food is okay, salads are actually pretty good. Delivery takes around 50 minutes for me. They mess up orders all the time though, and communication with the staff about orders is difficult because they are brusque and have poor English. Sometimes they will fix the order. For example, ordered the "create your own salad" where you can have only one meat choice, and chose the Honey Turkey -- salad comes, no meat, so they offered to cut up a piece of turkey and send it again. Now waiting for the turkey while staring at a veggie salad. Mediocre, but the only place that delivers all-day breakfast in the Heights as well.

Used to order from here all the time, but has been going downhill. (However, I do like the delivery guy - always very friendly.) Consistently 50+ minutes to get food, even just 6 blocks away, and recently increased prices (adding cheese to a sandwich should not cost $1.50!). Please bring back the Ideal Mini Mart I used to love!

Food was bland. Truly, nothing special to even write about. It took over an hour and 20 minutes to actually get the delivery, which of course meant that the food was cold. Also, they had to call me back after I ordered (45 mins later) to let me know they didn't have what they listed here on the menu and I had to make a substitution.

Made a mistake on my order, and they were very unwilling to correct the problem. Didn't get a refund or an exchange... What I have had from them tasted like crap.

Do NOT order from here for delivery. If you really want this food, go pick it up. It took 1.5 hours for delivery!! And of course, they got my order wrong as well. No soda, that I paid for and no mayonnaise that I asked for. The food was stale and bad.

I've ordered from ideal several times. Yes it's true that they take a long time to deliver your food even if you live a block away. However, they seem to be busy so I can cut them some slack. Today however will be the last time I order from them. I placed an order for a simple egg breakfast platter. This includes toast, homefries and coffee. Delivery took about 35 minutes. When I got my food I noticed that the eggs/homefries were missing. Ok, mistakes happen and I assumed that they just left the platter at the deli. I called them and they said they'd send it right away. In another 20 minutes the delivery man comes back and this time there's only eggs, toast and coffee. NO HOMEFRIES. At this point I'm starving and annoyed so I just told the man to leave. To top it off the coffee was made wrong after I put in the instructions. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!

The food is good for what it is which is basically a deli that serves hot and cold foods. The delivery is really slow but since the food pretty good we keep going. The breakfast is really good especially the egg dishes.

These people are VERY slow. Even if you order something that can be made in 5min, it will take them 45min (and up to an hour) to take it a few blocks. I've ordered from them several times, and sometimes my order is not accurate.

I order from this place about once a week. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious, and the prices are right. Also, the delivery guy is extremely pleasant. Be sure to specify exactly what you want, though- if you like your coffee black, make sure they know. All around, a fast and cheap delivery option.
