Be careful if you order from them within 30-15 minutes before they stop taking orders. They close the kitchen before they stop accepting seamless orders! Had to wait over 30 minutes before a Seamless rep called to tell me they closed their kitchen. No food and hungry.

Got the Fattah B'Lahm and an order of hummus. The food came quick, there was TONS of it (the bread was warm and the size of the Sunday paper), and it was all so good and rich and satisfying. Do it. Be bold. Eat here.

I am updating my former negative review. I decided to give them a few months to clean up their act and they did! My last order was spot on and everything was packaged carefully and delicious. They still have the best hummus I've ever eaten. They are a bit pricey for the portion size though.

I ordered at 12:30 for a 30-45 minute quote. 1:45 rolls around and there's no food. I called the restaurant and they said "the delivery guy doesn't get here until 2". I understand staffing emergencies, sure. But just call me and cancel my order right away and don't make me wait over an hour for nothing! I'm hungry!! I will never order from here again due to their lack of customer service.

I ordered from Aden expecting something somewhat similar to my favorite Moroccan spot on the same block and WOW was I wrong. I will usually order a mixed or combo plate at middle eastern restaurants not because I'm looking for giant portions but because I like the variety of flavors. Lucky for me Aden didn't disappoint in either department. The meat was fresh delicious and well cooked and the best part is they sent enough food for me to have 2 meals! The included side salad was surprisingly good (and complete ... it had everything!) and though the soup was really just glorified chicken broth it was pretty tasty. A word of advice ... their hot sauce looks pretty un-intimidating (kind of like squished tomatoes) but it packs a huge punch. It's safe to say I will definitely be ordering from here regularly.

Ordered the Chicken Haneeth. Chicken was extremely dry with very little flavor, received 4 little pieces of cut up mixed vegetables, rice was OK, homemade soup was tasteless and the highlight of the meal is the salad. Delivery took 1 hour and 30 minutes...Please save your money and avoid

First time Yemeni food experience. Delivery was prompt, the food had leaked quite a bit but we managed to salvage everything. Overall a very good first impression that will have me trying it again. Ordered Agda Chicken and Lamb Segar with Hummus and an extra order of Bread. Agda Chicken is a tomato based chicken stew with potatoes, zucchini, and okra. The chicken is shredded and the dish had a nice flavor. The Lamb Segar with Hummus involved seasoned lamb that was chopped into small pieces (not ground lamb) and put over Hummus. The lamb itself was a bit dry but the flavor of the dish was excellent. The bread is massive. Not sure how much bread we were supposed to get but what showed up was 6 flat breads, each at least 14" in diameter. There are plenty of leftovers for tomorrow.

I'd never had Yemeni food before but this place was delicious! Everything seemed high quality, starting with a simple salad with feta, and it was a ton of food. I got four "pieces" of their homemade bread, each one as big as a pizza. The hot sauce tasted like a really tasty and fresh salsa. Looking forward to ordering again. These are the types of places that make Astoria great, support it! Also, fast and friendly delivery for homemade flavor.

Admittedly I have only one experience to go on, but I have to say I loved it! Ordered the Lamb Haneeth. Large pieces of fall-off-the-bone lamb with two dipping sauces and aromatic rice. An excellent, hearty dish, which, honestly took me back to my 1997 visit to Yemen! This is real-deal Yemeni food...not subtle, but wonderfully spiced and very different. The hands down winner, though, was the Marag (means "soup" in Arabic). Wow! Perfect spicing, just a tiny touch of heat, big flavor. This soup is worth your going out of the way! So pleased to see honest, quality Yemeni food in Astoria. Will definitely order again. (Prices seem high, but the entree -- at least the Haneeth -- was huge, easily shared by two people. One entree and a couple of apps, and you're good to go.) Oh, and lightning fast delivery too.
